💖 GOODBYE BRANDY 💖

This job is a blessing and a curse. I get to fall in love with all of these amazing doggos and be part of their lives…and sooner or later I have to say goodbye.

I should have been walking her as usual today, but on Monday beautiful Brandy crossed the rainbow bridge. I am so lucky and grateful to have been given the opportunity to give her one last cuddle and to let Katie and Suki say farewell to their long term friend.

Brandy was part of the family, a beloved Paw Baby OG I boarded, walked and groomed. This was her second home, and I feel like I’ve lost one of my own. Sad is an understatement.

Brandy, I will love you forever, and I will miss your cheeky sass. I will miss going upstairs when you were staying here and finding all my cushions and pillows on the floor. I will miss having you draped over my shoulder as you snooze on the back on the sofa. I will miss your carefully weighing out your food to ensure your gannet-like appetite was kept in check as you barked incessantly at me to hurry the F up. I will miss seeing you lying spread-eagled on the sofa without a care in the world or a shred of dignity. I will even miss your epic snoring.

The first photo is the last photo I will ever take of Brandy, the second is the lovely moment her besties got to see her one last time.

The heartbreak your mummy is feeling now is indescribable. You were her everything for 11 short years and I know you were irreplaceable to her. You made everyone you met smile, and You will never not be missed. Thank you for all the joy and laughter you brought to the Paw Baby household, we will remember you forever.
