On Friday night, we were honoured to be invited to attend a live production by Seaton Starlights, who performed Blackadder’s Christmas Carol to raise funds for both ourselves and .hope 🎭✨

What an absolutely amazing evening it was. Everyone in attendance was treated to a night full of laughter, warmth and fantastic entertainment. The commitment, talent and sheer dedication of the Seaton Starlights team truly shone through in every part of the production.

Thanks to their incredible efforts, they raised a fantastic £185 for our cause — a sum that truly goes a long way in helping us save and support more of the beautiful dogs who so desperately need our help 🐾💜

Simply saying thank you doesn’t feel enough, but we are incredibly proud to be associated with such kind, generous and passionate people.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you, Seaton Starlights, for an unforgettable evening and for supporting what we do. ❤️

We’re aware we’ve had a few comments recently about our communication or lack of. We thought it would be an idea to send a general apology. No excuses ment but we work incredibly hard to help as many of these beautiful animals as possible and at times picking up our phones couldn’t be further from our minds. Cracker is our gorgeous 11-month-old Cocker Spaniel, and he is everything you’d expect from this brilliant breed — and more.

This boy is super clever, eager to learn, and wonderfully trainable. Whether it’s new commands, enrichment games, or just showing off his boundless enthusiasm, he loves keeping his mind busy.

Cracker is a happy, loving, playful lad who brings joy wherever he goes. He adores people, enjoys affection, and would suit an active home that can give him the fun, structure, and companionship he thrives on.

He is microchipped, vaccinated, parasite treated, and still intact.

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you wholeheartedly, keep you smiling, and join you on every adventure — Cracker is your boy. ❤️

This lovely little lady has her safely reunited with her owner ☺️

Last night we received a desperate call… a tiny little terrier, heavily pregnant and in urgent need of help. No safe place to go. No warmth. No one looking out for her – and babies due any day now.

We couldn’t turn our backs.

Today she is safe with Midlands Dog Rescue 💛 She arrived scared, but already showing the sweetest heart. Even with her huge belly, she wagged her tail when we spoke softly to her. She just wants love… and a chance to bring her puppies into the world safely.

Over the next few days she’ll be monitored closely, given nutritious food, warmth, and round-the-clock care. We will do everything we can to make sure she and her puppies survive and have loving lives.
