If your dog is scared or anxious about the fireworks please do let the team know when dropping them into daycare. This will help us manage them better appropriately. We don't get many fireworks but there can be the odd ones anytime from about 4pm right up until New Year. 🙈🐾

We have vacancies for doggy daycare assistants, I'll keep it as simple as i can.

1, it's hard work (it's NOT therapy cuddling dogs) you will be responsible for the safety & welfare of people's dogs so you will need to be physically able to handle the dogs, it involves a lot of bending, moving around and good agilty to keep up with them, most of all you need to be super alert and confident in your manner around the dogs.
Other duties will be involved such as dog washing, dog swim sessions, premises cleaning, and interacting with customers in person and on the phone.

2, Most of all you WILL NEED TO BE RELIABLE and flexible to help out when others are on holiday or away for any reason.

That's it, sounds simple but before applying you should understand our customers rely on us to be there on a regular basis, so you need to be there on that regular basis, if your not it's too late or not possible to turn people away so the pressure then falls on everyone else to cover your slack and ensure the well-being of our guests is still met, constant unexpected days off causes upset in our small team and will not be tolerated even after your trial period.

We offer competitive pay rates, paid breaks with good facilities, flexible holiday & uniform, training will be given. Any qualifications in the industry a benefit.

**Competition time**
Please send in photos of your dogs in Halloween costumes/dress up. We will then post them all at once on Sunday 27th (evening). People will then have until Wednesday 30th to vote for their favourite by liking the photo. The photo with most likes will win a small prize. Open to daycare dogs only. Please Facebook or WhatsApp your pics 🙂.
These photos are a bit of fun had late Saturday afternoon....some dogs had already gone home & some just plain didn't want to join in 😊

Another angel called to the bridge. Gentle soul Louie lost his battle with illness after soldiering on 2yrs past his expected diagnosis! A proper trooper. A regular visitor for such a long time means we feel the grief too. Rest free from pain now Louie. Sending love & hugs to Lauren, Tommy and family 💔😭🌈

Beautiful soulful Spike. Very sadly became poorly recently and passed away just shy of his 7th birthday. Always a happy chap, loved his Saturday visits and even when not quite 100%, always had a wiggly bum and wagging tail for us. A true gentleman. Will miss you buddy. Sending lots of love & hugs to all your family 💔🌈😭

***URGENT***
We have had a major flooding tonight and although main daycare is fine, 2nd daycare is only partially in use, so tomorrow (Tuesday 24th) if you are working/have unchangeable plans please do still bring your dog in. If they are due in just for socialisation/fun please consider changing to another day to help reduce our numbers slightly. Your help and understanding is much appreciated. Jo & Brian 🐾
