The year I became a Mantrailing Instructor, I decided to pursue my creative passions, challenged myself to learn more, spent my days in the outdoors with dogs, felt immensely proud of Ace, got married and grew a community of the loveliest people that I love spending time with.
Truly grateful for everyone who helps my business be exactly what I love. ❤️

Sometimes life throws you curveballs and this week it was my van unexpectedly breaking 🥲
Felt very grateful for the boy this week, when I’ve felt stressed or 💩 he’s just been wagging his tail at me just happy to be spending time together. We’ve enjoyed all of the snuggles, the training sessions and the autumnal walks together. Spent a long time building the relationship we have and it’s so bloody wholesome and cool 🦊
Sebastivan is in the garage, not sure when she will be fixed yet but I am very sure I could never work from a car again and I can’t wait to have my van back 🤣

5 things to know for your first mantrailing session!
5 things to know for your first session ⬇️
You will receive a list of everything you need (also on booking confirmation) and be added to a WhatsApp group prior to your session. I have spare equipment you can use so if you don’t have anything just give me a message!
Foundations are really important and we don’t need to rush them, we want the dogs to win and everyone involved to have fun. We will be finding what motivates your dog and the right reward for them. It may be high value food in pots, their favourite toy or even a fuss from the trail layer.
You will be trailing your dog, being the trail layer for other people’s dogs and waiting by the cars with the dogs who are resting. Mantrailing is a group effort and it’s great to see how everyone is supporting all the teams. The dogs are always supervised!
There’s nothing to worry about. Trust me, I’ve been there - nervous to book wondering if my dog would pick it up, would it be nerve wracking for me to do something completely new. I want to reassure people coming to my session for the first time, everyone wants you and your dog to win. Every dogs trails look different and that’s because every dog is! The group and I are there to advocate for your dog and trails will be set up so your dog can win and get the most out of them.
I may be biased but you’ll love it. It’s the best feeling watching your dog find someone, closely matched by the feeling of having a happy dog run at you and really wholesome to spend time with other (crazy) dog people 🥰
