While we humans can indulge in chocolatey treats, it's important to remember that chocolate is toxic to our furry friends! ⚠️❗️

Keep an eye out for symptoms of chocolate poisoning in pets, such as vomiting, diarrhoea, rapid breathing and increased heart rate. If your pet shows any of these signs, then contact us immediately on 01606 723202📞

Seasonal Canine Illness (SCI) has no known cause, but this is what we know so far 👇​

☀️ Seasonal means it is most prevalent between August and November.​

🌳 Dogs fall ill roughly 1 to 3 days after a woodland walk.​

🤒 Symptoms may include vomiting, lethargy, abdominal pain, not eating and muscle tremors.​

​SCI can be fatal and although the cause is currently unknown, we focus on treating the symptoms and most cases recover. ​

🐱 Meet Meg 🐱 12 years young, who visited our Cat Clinic in the Orchard 🍎 to have their monthly anti-nerve growth factor (NGF) monoclonal antibody (mAb) injection. 💉 Meg was at ease and enjoyed having a nosey out of the window 🥰

This injection helps to alleviate pain associated with feline osteoarthritis. 🐈

Some signs of feline osteoarthritis are:
