Happy 2025 to you all!! 🥰🥳🎉 Unfortunately it’s been a bit of a bumpy start to the year, with this weather making it a little difficult for me to get safely out on to the road ❄️☃️ But thank you so much to the few of you who have ventured out to bring your gorgeous fur friends to me instead and thank you to all those affected for your understanding and for being so flexible 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Hopefully by next week everything will be back to normal 🐶🤞🏻🌤️

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my amazing loyal customers who have waited for me so patiently to return to work 🙏🏼🥰❤️ I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it and I am just so, so grateful….thank you 🥹💓 It really has been so, so lovely to see you all again 🥰

Giving this gorgeous chap his first big boy groom on Friday marked my first time back in the Zen van since before my op 🐾✂️🥰
Kobe did amazingly considering it had been so long since he had his first puppy pamper session back in August 🫶🏻😍

I’ll now be gradually building my workload back up over the next few weeks, taking my time so as not to overly strain my hand….thank you so much again to everyone for being so patient over the last couple of months 🙏🏼❤️

Just a quick update for everyone….I’m so sorry I’ve not posted anything on here for a while, I’ve been very busy trying my best to rest and heal my hand as much as I can 🤕😌
After a review at the hospital today with my consultant, he has advised that I take a little more time just to try and get the little bit of swelling down that is still around my scar and to start gradually building up my ability to start sc******ng etc. Unfortunately, with my job being so manual, and so reliant on my right hand for absolutely everything, he has stressed that it’s important I build up very slowly.
I will of course be in touch with everyone who has anything booked in over the next couple of weeks, to reschedule.
For those who are already booked in before Xmas it may mean just cancelling this next appointment and then seeing you in December. Obviously if anyone is desperate then I of course totally understand if you need to get a one off groom somewhere else.
Thank you to you all for your continued patience and understanding….it really does mean so much to me ❤️

Just to let everyone know, I’m due to be having carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand on Thursday….this sadly means that I’ll be out of action and unable to groom all your gorgeous furbabies for potentially 4-6 weeks 🤕
I’m currently in the process of contacting everyone who is booked in during that period, suggesting that we simply miss this appointment and then pick up as usual on your next scheduled appointment 📆
I of course fully understand if anyone needs to go to an alternative groomer to cover the missed appointment with me ✂️

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this post….a dedication to special Paddy, who very sadly lost his battle with his illness this week and crossed over the rainbow bridge 😔💔🌈
I had been grooming Paddy for many years and he will be a very, very missed member of the Zen Dog family 😢 …he was truly always such a pleasure to groom and have in the van with me, and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to know him and be his groomer 🐾♥️
Paddy was a very special boy indeed and I know how utterly heartbroken his family must be feeling right now without him there 💔 Paddy has been their constant rock, over the last few years especially, and my love and thoughts go out to the them all at what I know will be an incredibly difficult time for them ♥️

Run free gorgeous Paddy 🐾🌈…..you’ll always be held so close in the hearts of those whose lives you touched ♥️

I think it’s safe to say we’ve got one happy little customer in adorable Terry 🛁💦🥰

Adorable sleepy Walter 💙💤….so, so lovely seeing him so relaxed in the Zen van on his very first visit ⭐️❤️

Found this little critter on one of my Zen van visitors last week 😬 I managed to remove him nice and quickly using a a removal tool👌🏼 Just remember, if you do find one on your dog, always remove them swiftly, but carefully, so as to ensure they remain intact. If any part of the tick is left under the skin then it can cause an infection 👍🏻
