🎄The whole team wish you a very merry Christmas 🎄 All the horses are enjoying a well deserved break today. Team CRS hope you have a fantastic Christmas #merrychristmas2024
🌟 Next to introduce is Jazz🌟
Jazz is a 13hh piebald mare, she arrived a few months ago and is settling into the CRS family really well.
She was very unfit when she arrived but has been on fitness plan and has had a hair cut 🙈. After being on a fitness plan she is now looking and feeling healthier.
Jazz has now started taking part in lessons and is a favourite with our pony club members.
She is proving to be a great addition to the team.

🐴 Next to introduce is Oreo 🐴
Oreo is a 13hh, Piebald, Gelding.
We have had Oreo for a couple of months now and he has fitted into the CRS family straightaway 🥰
Before joining our team Oreo was privately owned by a lovely local family. He has previously competed at riding club level showing as well as just being schooled at home and pampered lots.
Oreo is a great asset to the CRS family and the team of staff will continue his education alongside him working in the riding school.
We all love working with Oreo however he does have a small cheeky side when it comes to keeping him in a field 🙈. He is a little Houdini 😂
⭐️ New for 2025⭐️
🐎 Intro to Polocrosse🐎
Thursday 2nd January 9am-3pm
Are you looking to add a new discipline to your riding skill set?
Polocrosse might be the perfect activity for you!
❓What is Polocrosse you may ask❓
It is a team sport played on horseback (a combination of Polo and Lacrosse) where players use rackets with a net to pick up, carry, throw, catch and bounce a soft sponge ball 🥎 with the aim to score the most goals.
This can be a fast paced sport, however don’t worry our intro day is intended to cater for those that have never played or with minimal experience of this sport.
Riders must be competent in WTC for this activity.
To book pop into reception of call us on 01606892111.

Here’s two of our lovely horsies, Billy and Bruno (he’s in the comments!), enjoying their salt licks our staff put in yesterday 👅 🧂
Himalayan Salt licks aren’t only a 100% natural source of Sodium Chloride, they also contain great minerals such as calcium, zinc, iron, potassium & magnesium. All great to add to our horses diet! In the summer months, they also encourage our horses to drink, meaning they stay nice and hydrated in the heat 💧
Salt is also necessary for proper muscle contraction and healthy nerve impulses 👌
Our horses are all worth their weight in gold, and simple things like providing salt licks- not only keep them entertained but also provide so many great benefits ❤️🐴
Late night checks of our cutest little ponies in pony barn 🥰
Our on-site staff check round every evening to ensure all ponies are tucked up for the night, and happily munching 🐴❤️
Tonto found some remnants of his lunchtime pony nuts on his stable door 🤣🤣🙈
He’s just the cutest ❤️
Today we held our last Easter event… our Own a Horse Day!! 🤩🐴🐴
The day began with everyone grooming and bathing their horses (they were very muddy after a great night in the field!! 🙈), before discussing how and why we use poles in training and lessons… such as for rhythm, suppleness, straightness, and core engagement from our horses perspective, accuracy of position and aids, and concluded with an assessment of their horses to make a targeted pole exercise. 🙌🙌
Everyone then brain stormed some pole work ideas, based on what they wanted to achieve. Poles were used as channels to encourage straightness, raised poles to encourage flexion over the horses back and core engagement, fan poles incorporating a carrot design 🥕🥕 to encourage suppleness, and a fun assault course over our "CRS" design!!
After the ridden session, riders washed their horses off, mucked out and hayed their horse before going for some lunch. 🍽 😋
After lunch, everyone tacked up their horses and went on a lovely hack round our farm ride in the sunshine! ☀️ yay!!
All riders participated in some very challenging exercises and worked well as a team to design and build our clinic. A fun day had by all! 🤩👏
Big thank you to Amy and Maddi for running the day ❤️
