DECEMBER TRAILS 🐾

Spaces are filling for our December Trails!

We currently have the below sessions available:

Wednesday 4th December 7pm - 9pm
Saturday 7th December 10am - 12 Midday (Final Space Remaining!!)
Tuesday 10th December 7pm - 9pm
Saturday 14th December 10am - 12 Midday
Tuesday 17th December 7pm - 9pm (SOLD OUT)

Trailing is so much fun and gives your dog an opportunity to use their natural desires and helps them build confidence 👌🏼

A very soggy morning trailing yesterday!

We had Team Teddy for his first session, he was a little unsure at first but got the game in no time! He even ended the session with his first pet trail! 🐾

We had Team Dash who worked his little socks off with lots of difficulties, we threw in some back tracks, a figure of 8, junctions and road crossings and he took it all in his stride and found his missing person and missing dog in no time at all! ⭐️

We had Team Marla for her first session, she’s an older girl and reminded us that you absolutely can teach an old dog new tricks!
She also ended the session with her first pet trail and was an absolute star ⭐

Last but not least we had Team Rex for his second session, despite having a month or so between his first session and todays session he was super motivated and absolutely remembered the aim of the game, his first trail was super speedy and for his second trail we added in some difficulties, including junctions and back tracks and he absolutely smashed it!! 😍

Last night was Kennel Club Mock Assessments ⭐️

We have almost finished our current block of classes and have our Kennel Club Assessments booked for the start of December!

Our next Kennel Club courses start on 9th January 2025 and we only have a few spaces remaining!

We had some lovely (but very cold) trails yesterday evening!

Needless to say I took absolutely no photos or videos as it was far too cold to have my phone out!!

Instead I’ll share some photos from three of the team’s last daytime trails!

We had Team Watson joining us for his second session he absolutely hadn’t forgotten the game and did his first pet trails and started to work on adding in some junctions! 🤩

We had Team Scout who is a super star she worked on multi-directional starts and show what a truly clever girlie she is! ⭐

We then had new Team Lexie (sadly no photo as this was her first session and it was too cold for photos 😬) who was amazing and really picked up the game, she aced her back to back trails and then did her first pet trails with a junction and absolutely smashed it!

Last but not least we had Team Cleo who is another superb trailer! She had a multi-directional start which she aced and lots of extra difficulties added in and nothing got in the way of her finding her lost people and pets!

Lovely boy Jack came in for a Post Adoption 1-2-1 session this morning, he’s settled in to his new home really well so we just worked on building a little more engagement when out and about!

Very soggy Saturday Trails ☂️

We had Team Phoebe back for her second session and boy oh boy is she a speedy gal!
She has absolutely got the game and is starting to work on some additional difficulties, absolutely amazing work from her today ❤️

We then had Team Baxter who is a real superstar! We added some extra difficulties in today and he had a go at his first multi-directional start and he absolutely smashed it! 🥳

Newbies Team Harley joined us and he picked up the game super quickly during his back to back trails so we introduced some junctions for his final trail and he was super confident with his choices and even did his first pet trail! ⭐

And last but not least we had Team Watson who is another really speedy girl!
She worked through her difficulties beautifully and despite getting a little spooked by some distracting noises had her first go at a multi-directional start! 🤩

More Northwich Trails this weekend!

We had Team Lando for his second session, he was an absolute rocket! He did his first ever pet trail and worked his way confidently through a number of difficulties! 🚀

We had Team Cleo who did her first multi-directional start with some added difficulties followed by a pet trail and absolutely smashed it! She’s an absolute super star ⭐

Then we had Team Lottie for her first session, she picked up the game superbly and finished the session with her first pet trail! 🙌🏼

Our sessions are suitable for complete beginners or dogs that have trailed previously, if you would like any further information please get in touch! 🐾

Final Space for November Trails & Upcoming December Trails ⚠️

Man and Pet Trailing is an extremely fun and inclusive activity that you can complete with your dog. It is teaching them to follow a particular scent to find a “missing” person or dog!

It focusses on working your dogs natural instincts, building their confidence and helping you and them work as a team 🐾

Waggtails Puppy/Dog training with a difference dog’s & puppies have fun at waggtails as their tails always wag!

Here at Waggtails we pride ourselves at providing a safe place to train aiming to help any wheelchair users, who may come to our Waggtails as the hall has a ramp and is disabled friendly. I run Autism classes on a Monday at 5.15 - 615pm with children with this condition using their own dog if they have one or mine if the children would like to use my Blaze, Bertie or Fern? Come and have Fun at my Puppy, Beginners, Classes or Bronze., Silver or Gold Good Citizen classes. Call me to make a booking its Not Too Late!
