I recently had the pleasure of attending four paws groom school, Cheshire, and I can't praise the experience highly enough! The curriculum was incredibly well-structured, providing a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice. I learned so much about different grooming techniques, dog breeds, and the importance of maintaining a dog's coat health.

Rebecca and Clare, my tutors, were absolutely fantastic. Their passion for dog grooming and dedication to teaching shone through in every lesson. However, some skills can't be taught in real time and our most popular is the IPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management which includes Canine First Aid as standard. We practice CPR using our special Casper model and mannequins such as the one in the picture to show points on the dog and make our teaching interactive.

We get a huge amount of work experience requests through to our business group and we are keen to support learners in their journey. However, work experience creates additional work for our employees and adds responsibility in our business operation. As such, we have made the decision that in order to continue taking work experience placements we want those attending our locations to undergo some training prior to attending.

The courses in total cost £118 and can be paid for by the learner or main training provider. We will ask for this evidence to be supplied prior to agreeing to work experience placement moving forwards and recommending to other businesses in our sector to do the same. We won’t take more than 2 work experience students in any location and any one time so placements and dates are still limited.

* Promotes their safety and that of the animals in the work experience environment
