What are the reasons for clipping in winter:

💠Temperature regulation- not clipping would be like going running in a big coat on! It helps to reduce sweating, preventing horses from getting a chill

💠 Health Conditions- some horses need a little help removing their coat and some have skin irritations

💠 Grooming- helps mud/ sweat comes off easier while being brushed

💠 Competition- some horses attend shows where they’re judged on numerous different things; which turn out is one of them
