This weekend could be difficult for those pets who don't like fireworks. Here are some tips to help you prepare for a calm firework night:-

* Stay at home to make sure your pets arent at home alone. Make sure any dog walks are done early and any cats are in the house (keeping the cat flap closed)

* Create a Safe Place - create a safe space for your pets - a calm space with your pets favourite toy or blanket.

* Put the radio on / play music / have the TV on - put the radio on or play some calming music. This will help to distract your pets and help to drown out the noise that the fireworks are making

* Be calm yourself and act normally. Pets are very perceptive!
