Sandy’s dog grooming & SPA offer 1 to 1 Dog Grooming sessions for your dogs. Having studied level 3 dog grooming & Salon management , I understand that some dogs can get stressed out being in a busy grooming salon.
I only have one dog grooming at a time. This enables me to give each dog my full attention and time whilst in the parlour. Whether it is a nervous or stressed out dog. Sessions can last between 1 to 3 hours so your dogs comfort and happiness is my top priority to make the pampering session enjoyable.
I love to see them going with wagging tails 😀

Although a proper grooming facial will employ the same rotating technique of circular movements it does not imply your pet will receive a “scrubbing” like humans do since the main focus is on the hair strands and not the skin.

A Blueberry Facial is an excellent way of getting rid of tear stains and enhancing the coat’s color naturally while providing a calming, aromatherapeutic experience for your dog or cat. Even though most parents think it is only appropriate for white hair the truth is that this process is great for all colors and coats.

Simple Yet Powerful

We have found that it is always better to apply the Blueberry solution after a good deep-coat wash and brush since the calming natural scents will allow your pet to relax and enjoy the rest of the session. Our staff will then get down to the nitty-gritty by providing an enjoyable head massage using a circular motion throughout the whole face area to allow the solution to pe*****te. It is then left undisturbed for a couple of minutes to let nature do its thing by activating all the powerful antioxidants and allowing them to get down to work. After a good rinse the result is not only brighter, cleaner hair but also strengthened strands that are now better equipped naturally to fight off dirt and stains.

Through regular use you will start to notice that your pet’s face becomes fluffier and able to stay cleaner longer thanks to its rich levels of vitamins A, D and E.

2. **Start Slowly:** If your dog is not used to brushing, introduce the brush gradually. Start with short sessions, offering treats and praise to make it a positive experience.

3. **Brush in the Direction of Hair Growth:** Brush gently in the direction of hair growth to avoid discomfort or pulling. Be especially careful around sensitive areas like the belly, ears, and tail.

4. **Check for Mats and Tangles:** Regularly check your dog’s coat for mats and tangles, especially in longer-haired breeds. Use your fingers to gently separate them before brushing to avoid causing discomfort.

5. **Be Gentle:** Avoid applying too much pressure while brushing, as it can irritate your dog’s skin. Use a light touch, especially if your dog has sensitive skin or is prone to mats.

6. **Brush Regularly:** Aim to brush your dog’s coat at least a few times a week, if not daily, depending on the breed and length of the coat. Regular brushing helps to remove loose fur, dirt, and debris, keeping your dog’s coat healthy and shiny.

7. **Watch for Signs of Discomfort:** Pay attention to your dog’s body language while brushing. If they seem uncomfortable or restless, take a break and try again later. It’s essential to make the grooming experience as stress-free as possible for your dog.

I spend my days in the company of “Man’s Best Friend”, the dogs 🐶🐾! My job is very rewarding, and I am blessed to be able to have a job I love and have results I am proud of. Every day is different. I am allowed to be creative as a Pet Groomer and can work with the dog owners in deciding which style to give each dog and how to solve any issues a dog might have. Grooming a dog is like painting. The dog is my canvas, the paint and the brushes are my clipper and scissors (the tools). Using my skills and vision, l have a beautiful painting (the dog) looking their best and something i can be proud of.I love this work and have made a career out of it. How many people can say that? How many people are content with their jobs?Pet grooming will not solve the world’s problems or cure a deadly illness. But if I can make a dog feel and look better after grooming, I make pet owner’s life a little easier and put a smile on their face. Then I have contributed small to making someone’s life more enjoyable and less stressful. I’m not doing this job only for money but specially because I love it and love dogs!🐕 ❤️🐾🐶😍
