The proverb “curiosity killed the cat” originated from the phrase “care killed the cat” 🐱

The original proverb, “care killed the cat,” first appeared in print in 1598 in Ben Jonson's play Every Man in His Humour. Shakespeare's company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, first performed the play. Shakespeare also used a similar quote in his 1599 play Much Ado About Nothing.

Hi cat lovers!
👉PLEASE READ THIS FULLY, AS WELL AS THE POSTER, BEFORE GETTING IN TOUCH 🙏
😻We have made the decision to find Teddy a foster home for the colder months. Whilst our building is warm and cosy for us and our hairy cats, our tiny hairless boy Teddy struggles to keep warm (even with a heat pad and warm jumpers).
😻Our big hairless boy Khamoon is fine - he seems much better suited and has a hot body all the time, but Ted just can't stay warm, and ends up using up all his energy from his food on his warmth, so he then loses weight.
😻We have had Ted checked over by the lovely vets at Chapelfield Vets, and had a blood test done, and luckily he doesn't have any illness or disease. He just needs to be warmer.
So please have a read of the post and get in touch if you feel you can offer the right place for him!
(He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.)
