Sadly after five lovely years at Doggy Paddle Norwich we've decided to close our doors. Unfortunately our rising bills, particularly the cost of the electricity to run a large heated pool (£900+ per month 😱), has left us running at a loss for a long period and with them set to increase again we can't continue.

Thankfully we have managed to find a new home for our team, who will continue to offer hydrotherapy and therapist-led fun & fitness from a smaller centre round the corner in Hellesdon at Blue Dog Therapy. So all our existing users with vet referrals will transfer across, and those on the waiting list to start will also be offered to move across. Those that are interested in starting in the future, follow the team here or visit their website for updates.

Our last day open at Doggy Paddle will be Saturday 12th July. Thank you for supporting us, it's been a pleasure to meet all the dogs and owners 🐶

Almost there...
Our new canine health and hydrotherapy centre will be open in July 2025

If you are interested in starting hydrotherapy for your dog to support stiffness, arthritis, pre-existing joint conditions (hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, luxating patella etc) or for weight management or even fun and fitness drop us an email at [email protected]

We're updating our hours for March and adding Tuesdays! This will likely release spots from our waiting list.

So get in touch if you are interested in starting:

🐶Hydrotherapy - Use the therapeutic properties of heated water to exercise dogs in a weight-free environment. Suitable to assist in recovery following surgery to assist in building muscle mass, or for long term maintenance for conditions such as arthritis, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, problems with the cruciate ligaments, patella luxation, or other mobility issues.

🐶Fun & Fitness - Swim sessions are led by a certified canine hydrotherapist. Suitable for dogs of any age and sessions are tailored to meet your individual goals. Swim sessions provide an enriching activity for your dog that they will enjoy, whilst also supporting their joint health, building muscle mass, improving fitness levels and even aiding weight loss. This can either be structured swimming to work on their fitness and joint health, or more fun toys and fetch or a mix of both!

🐶Puppy Swims - Although generally puppies do not require therapy. Sessions at an early age build confidence in the water, trust with the therapist and provides an experience to build expectations on, which enables any future sessions to be more successful. We run these swims as a short course, as generally puppies take a little time to get used to a new environment, and build their confidence. Sessions are monthly for 3-6 months.

All of our sessions do require a vet referral, and we book these sessions with a frequency of weekly, fortnightly or monthly - get in touch for more information 🐶
