💉 CANINE VACCINE UPDATE 💉

The vaccine manufacturers have announced that the Lepto 2 (L2) vaccine, which covers 2 strains of leptospirosis, is being discontinued. This is in favour of them producing the Lepto 4 (L4) vaccine, which covers 4 strains of Leptospirosis.

What this means for you?

All dogs previously vaccinated with L2 will have their booster, but have L4 instead, and will need to have a second L4 vaccine four weeks later to be fully covered. They will then continue as normal annually and require just one.

This second L4 vaccine will be provided free of charge by the vaccine manufacturer until April 2026.

For all new puppies starting their vaccine courses, these will be given L4 from the start.
