What an unforgettable adventure in Lapland, Finland! 🇫🇮

I had the incredible opportunity to go husky sledging with my dearest friend Paige Fulcher, and it truly felt like a dream come true.

As a child, I always imagined racing through snowy landscapes with a team of powerful, happy dogs by my side, especially after watching Disney’s Snow dogs! 😂

The moment we set off on the sled was nothing short of magical—it was exhilarating and beautiful beyond words. With every joyful bark from the huskies, my heart swelled with happiness and gratitude at being here and doing this.

The sheer adrenaline rush combined with pure joy brought me to tears as I soaked in this amazing experience. To be there in such breathtaking surroundings alongside these incredible animals is something I’ll carry in my heart forever. ♥️

Having landed in Enontekio for my Lapland bucket list adventure, I will be away until the 14th February 2025. Any Facebook messages, emails and WhatsApp messages shall be picked up on the 17th when I’m back!

This lovely bottle of wine and bunch of tulips where a gift from Lilly, Larry and Lennie’s Mum Ellen after my time with her beautiful little gang of Chihuahuas 🐶🐾

It was wonderful spending so much time with the fur-babies and getting to know each of their personalities whilst taking them out on different adventures!

Looking forward to the next time 🥰

How is the end of February already in sight?! 📆 I have been pretty slack in providing photo and status updates on the @Green Paws Pet Services page as you have all been keeping me so busy with your wonderful pets! 🐾 I am away from the office and Green Paws in a whole from Friday 23rd of February to the 1st of March 2024, as I'm on holiday in Rome! 🇮🇹🍝 In regards to date availability, I am now fully booked for March, April and May with limited capacity for June dates due to personal commitments with my partner. Please note that no pet sitting or drop ins will be carried out with a client without a meet & greet prior - this is put in place to ensure your pets comfortability and my safety. All the best, Kim and the hounds 🐾

The Kimi’s Pet Services Family

Kimi’s Pet Services was founded in October 2019, by Kimberley Johnstone.

Kimi’s passion for animals, in particular any furry canine companions, began at a very early age. Whether it be from the frog she would find in the garden, to the dog her mum would bring home, her curiosity and care towards them was second to none.

Before her family knew it, this passion grew! And she was soon looking for any excuse to be out of the house; participating in multiple rescue centre placements and vet practice work experience just to be around animals and to care for them. These multitude of practice placements and animal sanctuaries work experience, lead her to begin her career in veterinary as a Animal Nursing Assistant at her local veterinary practice.

From this career, she has been able to dive deeper into the general care, husbandry and nutrition element surrounding each animal by carrying out various certificates and CPD.
