In the UK, May typically sees lawns getting their regular trim, but there's a growing movement urging a different approach. "No Mow May" encourages people to put away their lawnmowers for the month and let nature take its course.
At PCS we’re encouraging our various sites countrywide to participate in No Mow May, where appropriate, to let our memorial gardens, cemeteries and office gardens be part of this initiative.

Attention, dog owners! It's time to address a concerning trend sweeping the UK: the rise in dog thefts. This isn't just another statistic; it's a serious issue that's hitting too close to home for many pet parents.
According to recent police data, dog thefts surged by 6% last year, totalling at least 2,290 cases. What's even more distressing is that only one in six stolen dogs were reunited with their owners. This highlights the urgent need for preventive measures to counteract this alarming trend.
Which breeds are at the highest risk? English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, and XL Bulldogs are among the most frequently targeted by thieves, often fetching prices of up to £3,000 on the black market.
With this alarming trend, it’s really important to review and implement a range of simple steps to protect our furry friends from falling victim to these criminals.
Here's a rundown of expert-recommended tips to help you keep your dog safe:

This short video provides some useful ideas and suggestions to help you plan for this sad time and most importantly, give you the options so that you make the right decision for you, your family and your pet.
Norfolk Pet Crematorium is dedicated to providing a quality and empathetic service at the conclusion of your pet's life. Norfolk Pet Crematorium have been providing a pet funeral service since 1985 and the proprietors offer the greatest care throughout all our dealings with you, from discussing your funeral requirements at a time that suits you, through to the safe return or burial of your pet's ashes.

In your own time you can choose from our wide range of caskets and urns, in which the ashes will be returned with a Certificate of Cremation. Alternatively, you may wish to make use of our Gardens of Remembrance which are open all year round.
Contact us at your own convenience to discuss your requirements, we look forward to hearing from you.
