Bunny Butt Tidy Up ✂️

Snowy has some trouble grooming himself so I was called in to sort out his matted bum! With some time, patience and gentle finger work he was back to hopping around the garden in no time - and a lot more comfortable I suspect!

A Groom for Flower ✂️

Lovely little Flower is growing in confidence every time I see her! She's settled into our grooming routine and takes the opportunity to throw my tolls around and explore the kitchen side 😅 I trimmer her nails, tidied up her winter coat and it was swiftly back to husbun 😊

Sitting for Binky 🏡

Lovely little Binky was a pleasure to sit recently. She waited for me at the top of the stairs every day and watched closely as I cleaned her trays and provided her daily rations. She's a nosey and affectionate little bum who sat so well for her groom and was happy with her minty payoff 🥗

This boy lived up to his name and gave me a few thumps for my trouble! However I'm sure he's much more comfortable with shorter nails and all that fur off 😊

Sitting for Ghost, Dumpling & Noodle 🏡

I first met Ghost as a lone bun so it was lovely to see him again and meet his new life companions, Dumpling & Noodles. Their pawrents have done a wonderful job of building their home with lots of space to run around, dig and also scatter feed - a quick easy way to provide some enrichment, especially when you love pellets as much as these guys 🤤

A Groom for Mojito ✂️

I think you can tell from the face how excited he was for his health check and nail trim 😅 Lucky for Mojito he has lots of digging opportunities in the garden so he gets some extra time between pedicures, but as an outdoor bun who doesn't enjoy being handled its important he gets a regular check over...especially his belly, underfoot, under his chin and all those other hard to reach areas! 🔍

Sitting for April & Isla 🏡

These girls go crazy for their daily pellets and I'm more than happy to serve up! With a history of gut stasis it's also an easy way to regularly check they have a healthy appetite - it's knowing your buns habits and preferences like this that can help you take better care of them 🥕

Grooms for Bimini & Bruno ✂️

These guys don't love being handled but it was time for the essential nail trim to keep them comfy. As indoor rabbits they have limited opportunities to wear down their nails naturally, so once you can see their nails past their foot fur, or you can hear the tippity tap on hard floor, you know it's time for a trim 💅🏾

Unusual Find 🪲

Rabbits are extremely good at hiding any ailments, which is why regular health checks in all the little nooks are so important! On this occasion I spotted a teeny tiny tick under Kate's eye but with some confident handling and gentle manoeuvring it was off in no time 😁

Sitting for Flopsy & Mopsy 🏡

It was a pleasure to keep these boys topped up with hay, treats and fuss whilst the pawrents enjoyed a holiday! It was stress and hassle free with me making daily visits to deliver everything to their hutch door 😁

A Groom for Ruby ✂️

Lovely Ruby is 11 years old and needed a little extra hand with her grooming after suffering from a head tilt. I trimmed her nails, cleaned up her bum and assisted her coat with a deshed. We kept things slow, quiet and gave her lots of breaks for strokes and to hide if she wanted to 🥺

Another visit to these regulars! Moon knew the drill and offered her feet for her monthly nail trim whilst Foggy enjoyed a thorough brush out to help with his moult! ✅

A Groom for Oaty ✂️

Oaty has beautiful orange and white markings with adorably round features. He's timid by nature so we took his groom slowly and gave his nails a much needed trim. Swipe to the last pic to see his nails before - when you can see their nails protruding past the fur like this you know it's time for a trim! He had plenty of fuss and treats throughout and hopped off happily 🥕

Grooms for Kate & Yelena ✂️

These two girls are regulars and have really grown into the routine now. Regular grooming keeps your rabbits comfortable and healthy whilst building confidence around handling. I used a towel to wrap/cover both of them first time round and now they lift each foot in turn for a nail trim! 😊

Fun Fact Friday 🐰

I've been very distracted cuddling kittens and haven't posted any gorgeous buns for a while - don't worry though, I have a massive backlog from the busy summer so bunnies are incoming!! 🐰🐰🐰

Grooms for Hugo & Casper ✂️

These boys may look cute but that doesn't mean you can touch! They were full of thumps at being handled and fussed with but I managed a groom and health check for both. Special thanks to the towel for being a stress/chew toy 😂

Moulting Mayhem 💈

This beautiful Rex rabbit is in the thick of a full coat moult! Rabbits typically moult twice a year, in spring and autumn as the weather changes. Some rabbits moult from the neck, down the back and then towards the rump whilst others moult in random patches - like the lovely Yelena here. I removed much of the loose fur by hand; a method I typically use as it's gentle on the skin but was particularly useful for her fine velvety Rex fur 👌🏾
