Taverham aquatics currently has over 200 well stocked sales aquariums of livestock including , 131 tropical (of which 14 are specifically for stendker discus, 16 african cichlids, 6 neo caridina shrimps and 14 softwater). We also 14 coldwater/ temperate, 2 turtles and 1 for axolotls. On the marine front we have 50 marine tanks and 2 coral bays. We also have 22 pond fish vats and pond plants ( in season).

Another unusual catfish, this time a plec. We have 2 of these. They came in as rusty plecs but they have different markings (they’re spotted). They are obviously closely related to rusty, as apart from the markings they are very similar. If you want an unusual ‘rusty’ plec get in touch as these may be a one off batch.

Another great little community fish. These are gelius barbs. Full grown at just 4 cm and peaceful too. Available in store at the moment.

Looking for a pretty fish for a nano aquarium? Pearl emerald rasbora could be perfect. Peaceful, easy to feed , only growing to an inch and with highly variable patterns (they are a hybrid between galaxy and emerald rasboras). In this quick video you can see a few in our show tank and the lovely batch we have in stock.

Check out these amazing weather loach. This variety is known as black spotted 24k gold weather loach. Amazing colour and really good size too. These are just one of the many new fish we have had in this week. Full list in comments asap….

We currently have some stunning large ‘giant demansoni’ cichlids in store ( pseudotropheus sp. ‘Dolphin Manda’). Despite being African rock dwelling cichlids these are normally peaceful enough to keep in a open water cichlid aquarium.

Have you ever fancied a goby in your freshwater tropical community aquarium? These are nantiensis gobies ( rhinogobious nantiensis) . Small, hardy, full of character and easy to keep. They like high flow, caves and a frozen food diet.

Fancy a different tetra for your community aquarium? Lime green line tetra could be perfect. Stunning, peaceful and cheap too.
