Friendly, reliable freelance groom who has over 15 years experience with horses. I have owned my own for over 10 years, I currently have a retired event horse, One ex racer who is retraining to be a jumper/Hunter and my lovely hunting pony. I started my equestrian career working on a pre-training and rehabilitation yard, where I worked towards my NVQ’s in equine care, since then I have worked on v

arious different yards since, from point to point yards, flat racing, eventing, showjumping and hunting. Services I offer: Riding lessons, freelance riding, exercising-ridden and non-ridden (lunging, long reining, hacking, schooling (both on the flat and over fences), Show preparation (bathing, plaiting, tack cleaning), clipping and general tidy ups (mane and tail pulling), general yard duties (mucking out, turn out, bringing in, rug changes, haying and feeding/watering and safety checks etc.), can also accompany and assist at shows. I am a lightweight, calm rider, experienced with fit and quirky completion/hunt horses, also horses with behavioural issues.

About me

Friendly, reliable freelance groom available. I have over 15 years experience with horses, and have owned my own for over 10 years, I currently have a retired event horse, two ex racers in retraining and a hunting pony and regularly attend meets and competitions. I started my equestrian career working for a pre-training and rehab yard, where i worked on my NVQ’s in Equine Care. I’ve worked in various different yards since, from Point to Point yards, Flat Racing, Eventing, Showjumping and Hunting.

Services I offer: Riding Lessons, Freelance Riding, Exercising - ridden and non-ridden (lunging, long reining, hacking, schooling - both on flat and over fences), Show Preparation (bathing, plaiting, tack cleaning) and can also accompany and assist at shows, Clipping and general tidy ups (mane and tail pulling) and general yard duties (mucking out, turn out, brining in, rug changes, safety checks etc.) and Holiday Cover in the Norfolk area. I’m a lightweight, calm rider and am highly experienced with the retraining of racehorses and with behavioural issues.
