Longwater Community Farm is a new initiative for the people of Norwich to learn to live sustainably, grow your own food, look after animals, and much more!

At Longwater Commnity Farm we are passionate about giving knowledge and skills to people, children and adults alike, for enjoying life to the full. Through understanding and working with the world around us, its habitats, seasons, unexpected challenges and delights, we can enjoy benefits that filter into every part of our lives. We believe the more positive energy and effort we put into something,

the more positive the results will be. And where can this principle be better applied than to the food we grow and eat and the people we share our lives with. We're looking a new Coordinator to join us at the Ecological Land Cooperative

Duties include the day-to-day management of the organisation according to our strategic plan, and providing line management to the staff team.

The Ecological Land Cooperative is a social enterprise based in Bristol. We exist to widen affordable access to land for sustainable land-based uses. We have six smallholding sites with the potential for 18 low impact, residential, small farm businesses.

This a part-time role with opportunities for flexible, home-based working. Closing date Sunday 4th June.

One year ago today! Oh where does the time go! Rosie's first solid food meals💓🥰💓🥰 strawberries, sugar free rusk and mashed potato, and she had a little go with the spoon. Oh my goodness I love motherhood! . I wish I could go back, I wish I could stay here forever, I wish I could see into the future. . Yet right in front of me now, Rosie is feeding herself bananas and Cheerios, in her nappy, so independent and free and safe and happy. I'm so blessed and lucky to have been given the strength and tools from somewhere, god knows where, to get through this last eighteen months, and still be happy, loving life, hopeful for the future, content with today. Our Fordson Major is running again thanks to the Wonderful Womble! While the tractor doesn't get used very often, it's such an important part of the farm for me as it represents the generations in our family that have worked this land, and keeping the tractor going with care is representative of care for the land entire.
