After all those lovely cuddles with Stanley, Elf decided to visit Cinders. He thought he would hide in her cat stand and surprise her but soon realised this wasn't a good idea. Cinders is a great mouse catcher and Elf felt he had unfortunately backed himself into a corner 😬

Elf has certainly made himself at home at Timbers Boarding Cattery! I found him on the food trolley this morning helping himself to breakfast including JC's tin of tuna and a huge bowl of biscuits...how cheeky 😆 hopefully he won't be disturbing our lovely guests during December 🤔

To all our followers:

This is not our usual post but I go to a line dancing class on a Thursday evening at Tacolneston Village Hall which is great fun. Our fabulous teacher Paul is running a new beginners session at both Tacolneston and Carleton Rode... see posters below for more details.

Paul is also running a social line dancing evening on Friday 5 July so please contact him directly if you are interested.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to a high increase in bookings over the last few months and a high volume of advanced bookings, we are now in a position that Timbers Boarding Cattery Ltd is required to be registered for VAT. Reluctantly, we have taken the decision to increase some of our charges which will now include VAT. Our rates for all new bookings taken from 16 April 2024 will now be:

1 cat £14.00 per day
2 cats £20.50 per day
3 cats £26.50 per day
4 - 6 cats £30.00 per day

The above rates are INCLUSIVE of 20% VAT.

We still provide a 5% discount if you supply your cat's food for the duration of their stay. Otherwise we provide a selection of wet and dry food.

All bookings taken prior to 16 April 2024 will be charged at the previous rates which were:

1 cat £12.00 per day
2 cats £19.00 per day
3 cats £24.00 per day
4 - 6 cats £30.00 per day

We hope you understand and again thank you to all of our existing customers and new customers we are yet to meet for your continued support.

Many of you know that we helped to find the beautiful Missi a new forever home last summer. Missi was adopted by a lovely kind couple Chris and Peter who have fallen under Missi's spell and I am pleased to say that Missi has definitely got her lucky paws underneath the table in her new home :) she has a lovely big sister, Scamp who, after the usual growling and setting the boundaries, accepted her new sister and now they are the best of friends. We were also lucky enough to have Scamp and Missi board here for their holidays in the Autumn which was a real treat for us.

Chris and Peter send us regular updates and Scamp and Missi even got their mum and dad to drop a 2024 calendar to us as a gift from them which is now in the cattery reception.

A couple of photos in Missi's new home are below and we look forward to Missi and Scamp staying with us again this year.

We would like to wish all of our lovely customers and their fur babies a very Happy New Year. We had a great 2023 here at Timbers meeting lots of customers old and new and we are taking lots of repeat bookings again for 2024. We have two planned closures in 2024 (details in a previous post) so please do check before booking your holidays :)
