Newton Wanderer Welcome to my new business, I provide a trustworthy local dog walking service to the Newton, Notting

So this is a new venture for me and I have been quite busy setting everything up and doing the best I can to provide a good quality service to you and your pet. I offer two adventurous group dog walks a day These are in small groups of no more than 4 dogs. I want small groups to give the dogs my full attention and to keep them under proper control as well as safe in this current climate. One of th

ose dogs is most likely to be my own dog bandit as he loves a good walk with friends and is my inspiration for this business. I like to take the dogs to woodland, parks, lakes and rivers so that they can follow their natural instincts, socialise with each other in a pack environment. This is stimulating for them as well as for me because nobody likes to do the same boring trip round the block again and again. I am sure you would like to know more about me well after leaving school I spent 10 years in Germany in the British Army and I returned to the UK after I joined Nottinghamshire Police. I have worked as a Police Officer for the last 23 years but my combined service has allowed me to retire early and after a lot of thought and patient planning I am fortunate to be able to work for myself but still continue doing something that helps other people. During my time in the Police I found that walking my dog was fun and the best way to get regular exercise and relax my mind. I have met loads of lovely people through our mutual love of our pets and I could to be honest I could not wait to combine something I love in my new business venture. I have been planning this for quite some time and although I have a lot to learn from your pets I hope to provide a good quality service to both them and you. I am DBS checked, fully insured and trained in Canine first aid. I am a Gold member of NARPS UK which is the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers UK. I hold a level 1 Animal Transportation certificate and I have an appropriate vehicle professionally fitted with LINTRAN cages and suitable insulation and it is thermostatically monitored with electronic ventilation. I have also had both my Covid injections the last one being on the 8th May 2021 and I will proudly show you all of my certificates at our first meeting. please have a look at the pictures to see what walks we have been doing

It was very windy today, being a good dog walker I have been eating lots of biscuits and cake to weigh me down and keep the dogs safe.
I took Bandit, Raffi, Jake, Daphne and Ruby to Calverton woods today as it was shielded from the worst of the wind.
We had a great walk together too.

Soggy, soggy, Doggies oi, oi, oi
I took Buddy, Bandit, Percy, Marley and Charlie to Gravelly Hollow at Calverton this morning in the hope that the woods would protect us from the rain. For the dogs rain is just extra fun as it adds mud, puddles and flavour to sticks

Dolly was all about sniffing bins today on our urban snifari but she still looks incredibly cute while doing it.

We went to Calverton this morning for a nice walk and the dogs managed to stay incredibly clean for a change. Coco, Miss Marley, Bandit and Daphne loved being able to play with sticks and charge about in the leaves.

Friday with the crunchie gang. Raffi, Jake, Bandit, Ruby and Daphne. We went to Blidworth Woods today and had a very relaxing walk around. The dogs were very well behaved of course because they could smell sausages all the way round.

Lovely walk at Blidworth with Marley, Bandit, Buddy and Percy. We had a nice time, it was frosty but nice, the dogs stayed clean and we got some sausages of course.

I took Coco, Miss Marley, Charlie, Bandit and Daphne to Blidworth Woods as the dogs told me they could smell sausages from 7 miles away yesterday. So we went to find out for sure and they were right the sausage van was there. So we had our walk together and picked up a bag of dog sausages to share.

Calverton Woods today for a thawing out walk with Bandit, Coco, Daphne, Ruby and Teddy. They were all very excited and happy to be out together. We met quite a few other dogs on our way round too.

Dolly was all curled up in her jumper and was watching the birds in the garden when I turned up. She was overjoyed to be out in the cold and wondered why the birds seemed to like it so much.

The return of car alarm bird. This little bird has learnt to copy the sound of a car alarm but when you come too close he goes quiet. He hasn’t learnt to do the double blip like he’s been turned off yet but he is still amazing none the less.
