Hello fellow dog lovers I think it’s time I introduce myself.

My names Lucy and I’ve been working with Shana at furbabies for about a year, meeting and getting to walk so many gorgeous furbabies. I started out at just a few days a week but i’m now full time at Furbabies and I’m lucky enough to see these gorgeous faces everyday. I may be biased in saying this is the best job, there is just nothing better than seeing such happy faces and being apart of what is a dogs favourite part of their day😊

You might be hearing from me a lot more now on this page so keep an eye out for some fun posts on what furbabies get up to day to day and what Shana and her business has to offer🐾🦮🐶

CAT VISIT AVAILABILITY!!

We offer cat visits for your furry friend so they can stay in the comfort of their own home while you are away! This usually works out a cheaper option than a cattery, especially if you have more than one cat and takes away the stress of a cat having to be moved and stay somewhere they aren't used to.

🐈 Why choose us?
- We are a Ltd company that's been in business for 7 years
- No extra cost for more than one cat
- We have 4 employed staff, all DBS checked, insured and with over 80 years of experience between us 😛
- If booked in and booking form completed we guarantee the visits, we will not cancel at last minute
- 4 different options: 1 or 2 visits a day & 15min visits for less socialable cats or 30mins for cats that would like some company during their day
- Happy to administer any medication in liquid or tablet form
- We work weekends and throughout all holidays (except Christmas)
- Can do any other jobs that you'd like us to do, such as watering plants or taking out/in wheelie bins
- We can look after other small pets that are in the house at no extra cost, such as fish, hamster, guinea pigs
- Most importantly we genuinely care and we know what we are doing!!

We don't work every weekend but this one's been a particularly busy one with a 6hr cat pet taxi trip to Wales Friday, 2 pet sits overnight and 4 other dog walks in between.

Worth working it when you get snuggles off all these lot 😍🐕🐾

Pet Sitting (staying in their own home)

Are you going on holiday or visiting family for a few nights and would like your pets looked after in the comfort of thier own home?

We do offer a Pet Sitting service, where one of our team would stay in your home. All my staff are DBS checked, insured, qualified and employed. As our day job is dog walking & cat sitting we are confident and experienced with all different breeds and animals even reptiles.

Benefits
-Your pets don't need to get them used to staying somewhere else and you don't need to put them in a small kennel, cattery or hutch and solves any other worries with them going elsewhere
-For dogs, walks included
-Can work out an cheaper option if you have more than one pet
-We will follow your pets normal routine as close as possible with feeding times and bedtime
-Home looked after while you are away
-Other tasks while we are there can be done i.e. watering plants, turning heating on/off, accepting deliveries
-We even have a little clean around before you get back, so the house should be as you left it when you get back.

🎄☃️ CHRISTMAS CLOSURE DATES 🎅🎁
(24TH DEC - 6TH JAN)

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know in plenty of time when we won't be doing any walks over the Christmas period.

Our last working day will be on Monday 23rd December, so no walks on the 24th Christmas eve and onwards. We will be back at work as normal on Monday 6th January.

Please note: Christmas is the only time of the year we officially are closed so we can spend time with our family and friends and I'm not constantly on my phone getting back to messages and sorting walkies out for everyone, so if you can let me know before we break up for Christmas what dates you require in the New Year or by the 4th Jan, if any different from the norm. If you message over the Christmas period I may leave getting back to you until after the New Year.

*If you'd like to change your usual day and book in on Monday the 23rd Dec for 1 last walk before we break up, get in touch.

Reptile Pet Sitting and Boarding - For Bearded Dragons, Chameleons, Geckos, Larger Lizards, Tortoises and other Inverts in own tank. *Any other animal please PM me for our consideration.

We can either come to your own home to check water, feed, check tanks and anything you'd like us to do whilst at the visit or we can also board if they have their own tanks which are transportable so available for reptiles across Nottinghamshire.

If you planning on going away and need somebody to look after your reptile then please message to discuss further.

⚡ 2 of my dog walking clients have needed an Electrician this past week and didn't know that my partner is one so thought I'd post his card on here just in case anybody else is ever in need.

It's always handy when you know an honest, trustworthy and reliable person and don't have to worry if they'll even show up or charge extortionate prices 🧑‍🔧💡

1 x 10am 30min solo walk (or puppy/elderly dog visits included)
1 x small dog group walk
1 x any dog group walk
+ Spaces on Fridays for solo and group walks

We are experienced dog walkers with over 40 years experience between 3 of us, male or female walkers available. Qualified, DBS checked, insured and an official business who's been running for over 5 years.

🐾 Small Dog Group Walks 🐾

We have availability! 🐶 For owners in Ruddington, Clifton, Silverdale, Compton Acres or Wilford. £13 for 1 dog and 50% discount for more than 1 dog from the same home.

1hr walk, confident walking dogs on and off the lead, with many, many years of experience walking all different breeds. We are a limited business, who's been going for 5 years now. There's 3 of us, my staff are employed, Insured, DBS checked, Experienced, Qualified and Pet 1st aid trained

If you need a walker for however many days a week, even on an ad-hoc basis, please get in touch happy to accommodate.

*Also limited availability for 30min solo walk & bigger dogs on certain days.

Now that was a busy weekend 😅 I've done 12 cat visits for people off enjoying their holidays ⛱️

Got me thinking 🤔... I need to opening advertise more that we offer CAT SITTING! With my daughter now in pre-school for full days, I can dedicate my extra time before and after our regular dog walks to cat visits, but I also employ 2 other staff members so between us we can always help and will never cancel cat visits, once you're booked in were definitely coming!!

With cat visits your furry friend will be looked after in the comfort of their own home.

We offer 2 options:
😸 A quick 15-20 minute visit - To change water, top up food wet/dry, clear out litter and anything else you'd like us to do with the time.
😻 A 30min visit - This is for the furry friends who love the company, we will do all of the above and also play, fuss & just spend time with them. I'm good at making random conversations with cats even though they don't talk back 😹

People tend to book 1 or 2 visits a day. Price from £12 includes however many animals are in the household (unless it's going to take us over 15/30mins). Only available in Ruddington, Clifton, Wilford, Silverdale, Compton Acres, West Bridgford & close surrounding areas.
We're a LTD company who have been in business for 5 years now, although me and the team have been caring for animals for the past 40 years between us. My team are employed, DBS checked, insured, qualified and very experienced!
