Dexter the Cockerpoo is one of our lovely regulars here at Milo’s Pawz in Chilwell, and he recently popped in for his usual pamper session! 🐾

Herbert the Cockapoo celebrated his birthday in style with a visit to Milo’s Pawz last week! 🎉🐾

For his special day, Herbert enjoyed a luxurious bath with The Pawdinary Motherfluffer followed by Artero Keratin Conditioner to keep his coat soft and smooth. We finished with a spritz of Doggy Cologne, so he left not only looking fabulous but smelling amazing too!

He trotted out the door proudly wearing his birthday bow, ready to keep the celebrations going. Happy Birthday, Herbert—you were an absolute star! 🌟

🐾✨ Patience and progress for sweet Roxy the Fox Red Labrador! ✨🐾

At just 8 months old, Roxy is still getting used to the grooming experience. She was very nervous during her first visit to Milo’s Pawz Chilwell, so this time, we focused on a gentle desensitising session to help her feel more comfortable.

We skipped the bath and drier for now and instead:
✔️ Trimmed her nails – she was an absolute angel!
✔️ Briefly turned on the shower to introduce the sound – she was a bit nervous, so we stopped quickly.
✔️ Used the drier from a distance so she could get used to the noise.
✔️ Enjoyed a happy session with the deshed brush, which she loved!

We finished with a spritz of Pawfume, and she left wagging her tail! 🐶💫 It’s all about building trust and confidence, and we’re so proud of her progress!

🐾✨ Meet Betsy and Luna – two beautiful, gentle greyhounds! ✨🐾

Betsy has been a regular at Milo’s Pawz Chilwell for over 18 months, and she’s a real pro at enjoying her pamper sessions! 🛁💖 This time, she brought her lovely sister, Luna, along for her first ever luxury bath and deshed.

Luna was a bit nervous at first, but with gentle encouragement and plenty of cuddles, she soon relaxed and embraced the grooming experience like a star. 🌟 Both girls left looking fabulous and feeling fresh!

We can’t wait to see them both again soon! 🐶💕

🐾 Meet Charlie, one of our most charming regulars here at Milo’s Pawz! 🐾

Charlie is a lovely Cocker Spaniel with a special story—he came all the way from Portugal to live here with his family. Every 5 weeks, he visits for his grooming session tailored just for him. Due to a sensitive skin condition, we use a vet-recommended shampoo to keep his coat healthy and comfortable.

Charlie is kept short all over (except for his lovely, wagging tail!) so he stays fresh and stylish. Fun fact: his adorable face never changes expression, so you’ll always know it’s Charlie—luckily, that tail does all the talking! 🐶💫

✨ Pre-Christmas Pamper for Bambam! ✨

Bambam the Maltipoo paid us a festive visit at Milo Pawz and got the full holiday spa treatment! 🐶💖

She was bathed in the luxurious Peanut and Pickle Polar Ice Shampoo and Conditioner, treated to a refreshing blueberry facial, and finished with soothing paw and nose balm. A spritz of our signature Pawfume made sure she was ready to dazzle for Christmas! ✨

She left with her signature bounce and a box of Denzels treats to keep the holiday spirit going. 🎁🦴

✨ Meet Mable the Pomeranian! ✨

Mable visited us at Milo’s Pawz last month, and let’s just say she was a little overdue for a groom! 🐾 She had plenty of excess fur, but with a gentle, thorough brush-through and a bath using iGroom Deshedding & Dematting Shampoo and Conditioner, we worked our magic.

Drying helped release even more of that extra fluff, and after another round of brushing, Mable was feeling light, fresh, and fabulous! Just look at all that fur we removed—no wonder she left with an extra spring in her step!

We can’t wait to see her again soon. 🧡

🐾 Meet Reggie the Labradoodle! 🐾

With his usual groomer went on maternity leave, Reggie came to visit me at Milo’s Pawz for a fresh groom—and what a superstar he was! 🌟

I pampered him with a luxurious bath using Wow Glide Shampoo for a soft, silky finish, followed by a deep conditioning treatment. After a careful dry and style, Reggie left looking fabulous and feeling even better!

I loved having this charming boy in the salon, and he’s welcome back anytime! 🐶💖

🎆🐾 Firework Tips for Supporting Your Dogs 🐾🎆

While we love the excitement of fireworks, our furry friends might find the noise overwhelming. Here are some tips to help keep your dogs (and other pets) calm and comfortable during fireworks:

1️⃣ Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy, quiet area with their favorite blanket or toy to help them feel secure.

2️⃣ Keep Them Inside: Ensure all doors, windows, and curtains are closed to minimize the sound and light.

3️⃣ Use Calming Aids: Consider calming sprays, pet safe diffusers, or anxiety wraps to reduce stress.
