Our New Puppy Graduation Package is the best package to help your puppy graduate into the next big step of grooming🎓🐾

- Block Booking of 3 Puppy Grooms (We recommend Puppy Grooms being 4 weeks apart to help your puppy get used to the grooming process) You Can Block Booking your puppy’s appointments to ensure your puppy stays on schedule.

Updated Grooming Policy
To ensure the safety and well-being of your puppy, as well as our team, we have updated our grooming policy. We are unable to perform a full groom on your puppy unless they have had 3 puppy grooming sessions with Teddy’s Trims.

Additionally, we will not cut your puppy’s body fur until they are 6 months old, unless their coat is matted and requires trimming to maintain their comfort and coat health.

Puppy Groom - 12weeks up to 6months.
‼️Please Note - If your puppy has started grooming a little later for example 4/5months old we still have to do 3 puppy grooms before a Full Groom. Even if your puppy hits 6months & has only had one puppy groom we will NOT proceed with a full groom until they have had 3 puppy grooms. This is to ensure their safety and ensure they get used to the grooming process. (Please note if your puppy goes over the 6months mark before completing the 3 puppy grooms price may increase due to size.) Puppy’s should start grooming from 12weeks old or after their second injections, the earlier they start grooming the quicker they will adapt making the process more safe and enjoyable for all.‼️

Good Evening! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas & New Year💙 This post is regarding appointments for 2025!

Myself (Eley) & Ebony’s diaries are filling up quickly, months in advance! If you’d like to book an appointment, we highly recommend reserving your spot early.
January is almost full appointment available:
- 15th January at 4pm (Puppy Grooms, Spa Treatments only)
- 17th January 3:30pm (Puppy Grooms, Spa Treatment only)
- 28th January 11am or 2pm (Puppy Grooms, Spa Treatment only)
- 31st January 4pm (Puppy Grooms, Spa Treatments)

If you would like to keep your dog on a grooming schedule to ensure they stay clean, don’t get matted and give them that Dog Spa Experience we are now offering block bookings 3 months in advance! By Block Booking a few appointments it ensures that your Pooch will keep up to date on appointments and you will get the date & time that suits you best! It is super important for Long/Curly coated dogs to be on a grooming schedule to ensure they don’t get knotted or matted.

Saturday Appointments 🐾 - If you need a Saturday appointment please can we ask you book all grooming appointments in advance! Saturdays are the most popular day of the week. How often should I take my dog to the groomers?”

Short Haired Breeds:
Short-haired dog breeds can usually go up to six to twelve weeks between appointments. However some short haired dogs will need to come every 4weeks for nail clipping.

At Home Grooming - Yes – their fur is short, but brushing is still an important weekly task, especially before baths. Give them a feel-good massage with a Zoom Groom to remove loose hair.

Long Haired Breeds:
If you own a long-haired dog, you need to invest in a high-quality grooming brush. Daily brushing and combing through their fur is the best way to prevent knots, tangles, and matting.

The time between grooming varies, especially for long-haired pets. To maintain long hair, ensure it doesn’t cover their eyes or collect dirt. Groomers suggest a Mini Groom every 4-6 weeks and a full groom every 8-12 weeks.

At Home Grooming - Make sure you brush regularly using the correct brushes to prevent matts & Tangles!

Curly Coated Breeds:
Watch out for matting, tangles, and lingering dirt! Poodles, bichon frises, and other curly-haired breeds typically shed less than most, but they also require consistent upkeep.

Most curly-haired dogs need a full grooming appointment, including a bath and haircut, every 4 to 6 weeks. If you struggle with brushing or want your curly coated dog on a longer length we recommend doing a mini groom in between full grooms!

Home Grooming - Use a slicker brush & comb to gently work through wavy fur. Groomers recommend brushing at least three times a week to keep the coat in great condition between appointments.

Double Coated:
Double coats regulate temperature and protect sensitive skin, so it should never be shaved down. We recommend proactive deshedding services to remove lingering dead hair.

Home Grooming - Regular brushing using the correct brushes, you can also buy a pet hair dryer and blow all the dead hair away!
