Initially he is weary of newbies in his life, but break through that barrier and he is really fun and great to be around... 🎯

He's never had interactions with other cats, so our recommendation would be for him to be the centre of your world with no other pets ❌

As a Rescue we generally fight the fire all day everyday and ensuring we make time to stop things at source is tough...

I'm hearing they pretty much every rescue across the local area is currently full. This is terrible news as they all do such wonderful work.

That said, the endless emails/texts/calls for support simply don't stop. The word No is horrible and we want to help as often as we can.

We started in November 2023. We now currently have 90 beauties in foster and have rehomed over 370 darlings.

We are in this for the long run. It's tough, it's never ending, it's heartbreaking and joyous in equal quantities.

We are trying to focus on welfare neuters to stop the cycle of never ending pregnancies.
We have a scan angel network to help reunite missing cats and offer advice on strays.
We offer low cost microchipping.
We most importantly offer a companion scheme.

All this as well as the standard rescue offerings.

We exist with your support..thank you for putting your trust in us. We have so many outstanding requests that have been turned down elsewhere

Sick buckets at the ready 🤮

We could literally say it every single second of every day!! But today is one of those days we can sing about it. 🎵

Maddy one of our beautiful momma cats gave birth to 4 absolutely stunning kittens yesterday.. congratulations baby girl. 💕

Amanda, her 'Absolutely Fabulous' foster momma took 'Caternity' leave yesterday when she noticed on the we**am (that she clearly spends most of her working life watching lol) that Maddy was in labour 💋

She raced home and gave Maddy all the love and support she needed 🙏🏻

At 5am this morning Amanda alerted us to the fact the smaller kitten was struggling. After lengthy discussions Amanda kept the little soul with her, took them to work and stayed with them all day until our other fabulous Fosterer Jo stepped in for co parenting duties.🤗

We can't ever guarantee the success rate for a struggling new born. What we can guarantee is love, dedication, risk of job losses, divorce and more love than a kitty could ever expect.... ✅ ✅ ✅

Our team goes above and beyond every day. Whilst we tell them often, we wanted to use the last 24hours to showcase why we love each and every member of our Meow and Furever Family ###x

Ready for Adoption: Meet our Lovely Leo

Oh my days, Leo is one of those captivating beauties that is sure to steal your heart. At just 9 months of age he is now ready to branch off and find his furever family to love and cherish 💕

He loves to play and have zoomies, and we know he’d really appreciate having another resident cat in the house for some company...(he’s very submissive so easy for a resident cat to get on with) 🐈 🐈

He'd prefer that if there is children in the household that they are perhaps older or understanding as he doesn't like lots of loud noises etc.... He does however love belly rubs and to sleep in small spaces 😹

His foster momma describes him as a goofball in the most affectionate of ways as he is just exactly that. Funny, loving and a pleasure to be around 😻

We are looking for three fabulous long term homes to take on any of the following three beauties:

1) Twinkle- An affectionate, gorgeous 21 year old Torti girl who loves attention and being fussed. She seems extremely sprightly for her age. Ideally no other pets. She tolerates others but preference is pet free. No known concerns what so ever. She just wants someone to love her following the loss of her hooman mum.

2) Kes- A 15 year old black beauty. She prefers to be outdoors so a suitable foster home with allowable future outdoor access would be ideal. She loves fetching and playing. Very talkative. She loves company. Curious and protective of her territory.
Additional information:
Has irregular heart beat/murmur.
Medication - for thyroid (liquid medicine taken twice a day).

3) Pixie- A 15 year old black and white gorgeous girl. Pixie is more of an indoor girl and loves to sit on a warm lap. She loves cuddles & prefers adult company over children. Loves having her tummy tickled.
Additional information:
Has gastro intestinal dry and wet food

All our companion cats remain under the rescues care and anyone lucky enough to foster one of these girls gets 24/7 support as well as all food supplies, provisions and vet visits accounted for.

*Adoption/Foster Home Required for the amazing Humphrey

Humphrey is looking for a new home to call his own. There are territorial concerns where he currently lives and this seems to be aimed at the female cat he lives alongside. He has been under the vets, a feline behaviourist and all outcomes point to him needing to be in a low stress household, i.e no other pets, older children and where he will be centre of attention...and safe outdoor space.

He’s not a lap cat, but will happily follow you from room to room and loves a good grooming session (he’ll even roll over for it). You may find yourself hoovering around him – he’s that unfazed by noise and activity.

He loves the outdoors. He’s been used to having access to acres of remote farmland.

He's approaching just four year of age and we would love to get him settled with someone willing to give him the time to adjust. Please don't just see his beauty and pounce.... He will need time and understanding with the right person to settle.

Last month we made mention to the amazing Emma Redfearn, who was completing a 21 mile swim challenge to help raise money for Meow and Furever Cat Rescue Registered Charity 1205864 and Holly's Merry Moggies cat shelter Nottingham.

Today we got confirmation that she completed this epic challenge and exceeded the target she had hoped to raise ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

It's Welcome Friday.... with three gorgeous new arrivals:

Following the untimely passing of their dear hooman mum, two superstar kitties found themselves in need...

First up we have Twinkle!!! At 20-21 years of age we are honoured to have taken her into rescue to give her the loving future she deserves. A gorgeous, vocal torti girl (naughty status unknown), who is so far extremely loving. How could we say no to a gorgeous girl with so many stories to tell!

We then have her fellow roomie, the gorgeous Mr Bluey. A little over 10 years of age, he is a complete chunk of love, if not a little confused by all that's going on. Again very vocal and wondering where he is and who we are...

Finally and unrelated to the above we welcomed the beautiful 16month old 'Princess'. Chipped, but no address and no response to repeated contact attempts. Her finder tried posters, paper collars, social media updates etc... a thin, pretty girl, saved from the streets and now doing so well.

Twinkle has now elevated herself to our oldest resident, closely followed by our gorgeous 19 year old Leo, then Timmy who will be 19 in September, Cassie who is 18, Sonny who is 16, as is Lily, Stacey at 15.5 and Dolly almost 14..

These gorgeous cats with a larger number connected to the age will always gets everything and more then need from us. They certainly don't come cheap, but they are by far worth every penny. We love all our cats dearly, but these oldies sneak slightly deeper under our heart strings ❣️ ❣️ ❣️
