Mia🐴

My livery having a pamper day starting with a mane tidy followed by clipped legs (first timer)🙈

I’m so proud of this mare and these are the things that make my job so rewarding. Over the years we’ve built up her confidence with the clippers, found a pair of clippers that she likes which are my Liveryman harmonys. Usually I tidy her feather with a rake, comb and scissors however today I thought to try the harmonys using my new skiptooth blades.
She couldn’t have been any more perfect🩷

Here is Prince👑

I’ve been visiting Prince to help with some napping issues and the early stages of his ridden career.
Until 3 sessions ago we’ve been doing groundwork with Prince such as abit of lunging and mainly long lining to help build his confidence incorporating lots of transitions and changes of direction whilst his friends have been in the field beside him or in the arena with him.

We’ve had two ridden sessions in the arena since and today we opted for his first hack. His owner walked with us as a human confidence boost if needed as the hack did include a bridge and stepping over a log.
He was fantastic and even had a little trot he felt that good!

Successful Pole&Jump clinic today!!

Grid work is my favourite!! I had lots of fun coaching this today (hopefully my riders can say the same😂)

This exercise was set up as 3 bounces followed by 1 stride into an upright.
The idea being that the rider can focus on straightness, setting a good pace and feeling the rhythm throughout the grid by sitting quiet allowing the horse to travel through the grid
