We have had a female cat handed into us.
Unfortunately, she is not microchipped so we are currently unable to reunite her with her owners.
She is mainly white with calico markings and has distinct markings on face and chin.

🐰✨ Meet Fluffson, our brave little bunny who hopped into to see Dr Laura the Vet on Tuesday with a bit of a problem! 🌱

He had a poorly eye, but don't worry— we quickly discovered a sneaky grass seed was causing all the trouble. With a gentle touch and some expert care, we were able to remove it and help Fluffson feel better! 🐇💖

Now he's on the mend and ready to bounce back to his playful self in no time.

Remember, friends, always keep an eye on your furry companions and don’t hesitate to visit the vet if something seems off! 🏥🐾 ❤️

She is young, microchipped - but not registered anywhere.

Everyone meet Jake 😍

He came in for a general heath check with the Nurse!

Jake’s owners have signed Jake up to the Pet Health Plan and he will get one nurse check free with this!

This is a healthy pet check over, nurses can’t diagnose or treat, but can give advice on weight and teeth, trim nails, express glands and give lots of cuddles!

On May 17th, our incredible HR Business Partner, Sue Lodge will be facing her fear of heights by abseiling down the Millers Dale Viaduct to raise funds for our Charity of the Year, Support Dogs. Sue is terrified of heights, so this is truly a courageous challenge and a huge step outside her comfort zone – making it even more deserving of your support.

This is Poppit 🥹❤️

Our very own Veterinary Care Assistant now Student Veterinary Nurse - Lauren’s family doggy!

Poppit is around 10/11 she was rescued not too long ago! She is so beautiful and sometimes “pops” into practice! 💛

If you’re thinking of adding an additional member to the family, please consider rescuing! And don’t forget those golden oldies! They deserve just as much love as puppies and kittens and they have so much love to give back.

Dr Laura and Little Laura 🥺🩷

Little Laura was named after Dr Laura when little Laura’s mum (Charlie) was hospitalised with us for almost a week! She was very poorly and all our Vet’s and Nurses put so much time and care into her recovery and she was able to return home to her babies!

Dr Laura was Charlie’s case vet and it was such an emotional time for Charlie’s mum - she was so grateful and decided to name one of the babies after her!!

Such a heartfelt gesture 🩷

Bertie 😍

Handsome Bertie is Dr Ashleigh Howell’s wonderful boy.

If you can recall Bertie was brought to us as a kitten and couldn’t p**p! He was born without an a**s! Luckily our brilliant Vets were able to surgically create a new one and ensure the tract and newly designed a**s were fit for purpose… 💩💩

This handsome boy now p**ps like a troop!

Having Dr Ashleigh as a mum is super handy, helpful and FUN! She won a Pet Photoshoot and some absolutely GORGEOUS pictures came from it!

Bertie is a Scottish Fold, please do your research before thinking of getting any new fur baby. Scottish Folds are not without their genetic complications and can need a lot of medical intervention!

This handsome boy has been discharged and no longer needs bandages! Which is sad for us as we don’t have as many cuddles, but SUPER good for Lenny!

Dr Ashleigh Howells and Student Vet Nurse Jess helped bandage Zuko! 🩹🩺

Zuko unfortunately stood and scraped on a screw which cut open his paw pad! He didn’t need a stitch, but did need to be sedated so that the wound could be cleaned properly.

Zuko will be in for the next few weeks for bandage changes, if you see him, he is a big softy and would love a pat on the head!

(Dr Ashleigh Howells is his favourite Vet, as you can tell… 🤣)

Courtney’s - RVN APVN (Small Mammal) - furry clinics are a big hit!!! 🐰🐹

As you can see from the below photos (owners have consented) Courtney likes her patients to have a wander around and get SUPER comfortable!

She uses Pet Remedy spray to help our furry friends be calm and collected - this is sprayed on blankets / towels / and in the room diffuser. She doesn’t pull them out of their carrier, the tops are removed and the small babies are allowed to come out at their own time.
