After a long wait, it feels like summer has finally arrived! ☀️ Please be mindful of the summer heat when walking your dog.
Here's a quick & easy way to check the pavement temperature 👇
⚠️ If in doubt, please don't walk your dog. Consider waiting until later in the evening/earlier in the morning when the pavement and air temperature is cooler.
A dog has never died from missing one walk, but dogs have died from one walk in the heat. Don't take the risk 💔

Smelly pet breath
Let's face it, some of our pets have zero concept of personal space. And most of the time, we absolutely love it! However, if they have particularly pongy breath, this may cause problems (for your nose, at least) when they lean in a little closer...👃
Did you know pet breath shouldn't actually smell bad? By maintaining a good oral hygiene routine, you can keep suspicious smells at bay, as well as many other signs of dental disease. 🦷
During a dental health check, our team can examine your pet's teeth and spot any potential issues before they have a chance to develop into anything more serious (or expensive).
If you have any concerns about your pet's teeth, don't delay coming in to see our team!

SOUND ON FOR EXTRA CUTENESS
Meet Theodore, loving his life, chomping down on some broccoli! 🐰 🥦
He belongs to our lovely Vet Nurse Laura, he’s been loving all the cuddles, preparing for his Dental tomorrow.
Meet Connie 🐱
Connie was in for a routine castrate. As you can see Connie is very happy making biscuits whilst our amazing team get him ready to be reunited with his owner!
Castrates are beneficial for a number of reasons, it stops them looking for females which keeps the population of stray kittens down, as well as reducing the risk of testicular cancer.
Pop down to the clinic for more information.
We’re happy to say we’re now open
8am - 11pm Monday to Thursday
8am - 8pm on Fridays

❤❤❤ADOPTION APPEAL❤❤❤
Our beautiful golden oldie Bella is ready for her forever home!
Bella is approximately 11 years old, and came to us almost 3 months ago as she had been involved in an RTA and was unable to use her back legs.
After investigations were done, it was evident that she had a broken pelvis, and was in need of urgent orthopaedic surgery to fix it.
She also had a nasty chest infection, and after surgery required a feeding tube to be fitted in order to aid her recovery.
Bella has been treated with the help of our stray fund, all of which has only been possible thanks to donations and fundraising.
Despite her ordeal, Bella has been a model patient, and all the staff have completely fallen in love with her.
She is now looking for a retirement home to call her own. She will be your shadow, and follows you from room to room looking for fusses and attention. She is happy with other cats, and would like access to a secure garden as she likes to explore outside.
If you think you can offer Bella her forever home, please send us an email to [email protected], or message the page directly.
Homecheck and adoption fees apply.
