😃👌😃 I took my boarding dog out for a trip and a change of scenery with good company at a dog friendly countryside place. It was a dog friendly restaurant/cafe. The dogs even had their own place settings. ✨🌸✨

This lovely boy will feel much better hurrying discarded this growth which has accumulated over 10 weeks. It is 10 weeks since he was last groomed where he was also taken short to this length. The owner asks that he be trimmed short each time. 😃👍🐾👍😃.

👌✨👌. The results of a 30 minute clean on one side of this gorgeous and passive cockapoo. When he visits again I will clean the opposite side. Moving forward, a maintenance clean completed drawing each of his grooming visits , that is done every eight weeks, would be the ideal way to keep these teeth clean and free of tartar.

This made me feel hopeful 😊🌻😊

A very impressive Australian labradoodle throughout the process of his groom from before and after . Still with some curls on yet trimmed short enough to be manageable until his next groom in eight weeks time..👍🐾😃🐾👍

Worth the read.

A dog's coat keeps it WARM in the WINTER and and even WARMER in the SUMMER. That's why many wild animals shed signficantly to reduce thermal load in the Summer. Many dogs live in climates they weren't bred for e.g. Huskies in the desert. A thick coat does not keep a dog cool in a hot climate. Insulation keeps heat in or out. It depends on what the temperature direction is. If the outside is lower than the dogs skin heat moves from skin to outside and the coat slows that down. Great when its cold. If the outside is hotter than the dogs skin then the coat slows the movement of heat in BUT - the dog is still producing heat continously that it has to get rid of, so now it has to increase respiratory evaporative heat loss and sweating evaporative heat loss.

Today I was thinking of names for those who have never visited me. I was surprised to come up with a Pluto and Pongo. Also, 🐩's whom I have had previously are Gemma, S***f, Shandy and Muppet. I have never had a visit from a 🐕 called any of these names either. 🤔

This might not look the best cosmetically but that is not the priority. The dogs health and happiness is the priority then if I can make them look good as well, depending on the condition of the coat and the nature of the dog, it is a bonus. In this case the owner always asked me to shave the whole off and I believe and one hundred percent no that this dog enjoyed this groom with no stress and now feels a million times better given this hot weather. 👍😀❣️😀👍

Giving the baking heat recently this gives me a lot of satisfaction and she loved it. 👍🥰👍
