Wiggle Butts Dog Services was established in summer 2016 by Nicola. We offer a dog walking and boarding service. Wiggle Butts are here to offer you a helping hand with your dogs when you are out during the working day. We also offer a home boarding service, an alternative to using kennels. We are fully licensed, insured and vet approved and have a Canine first aid certificate. Nicola also has an a

ccredited diploma in Canine behaviour and has looked after a variety of dogs in a day care setting in her previous employment before setting up Wiggle Butts Dog Services, Nicola is used to handling to a variety of all different breeds and size of dog.

2016 - 2023

It's been the best 7 years. Thank you to each and every one of my clients' old and new for supporting our journey. Thank you to all our followers that have liked and shared our posts. Never did I think I could have my own business doing something I love.
Big thanks to Lauren Elise for the very beginning of the Wiggle Butts journey.
To my family, thank you for your support - I couldn't have done it without you, from helping with tax returns, invoices, washing towels, helping out on walks and loving all the dogs like I do.
To every single dog that I have ever looked after, thank you for letting me love you. I will treasure all of the adventures and memories we created. To those that I've loved and have crossed over to rainbow bridge, I hope you're all dancing with the angels.
I love you all so much.
And to Chester..... My special boy. Thank you for being the best CEO in the world, for putting up with mums obsession with dogs, and welcoming all the different dogs into our family and home. I will be forever grateful you came into my life, you were meant to be.

It's my last week in business. I will try my best not to cry everyday 🥴 I intend to make lots of special memories with my best friends 🐾
Lots of extra cuddles kisses and treatos for them all.
It's the toughest decision I've ever made but I know it's right for me in the long run. I just hate the fact that that I'm not going to be seeing my furbabies anymore... 😪 Love them all so much. 💔

What a day! 🥴 In the photos, the snow doesn't actually look that bad, but by the end of our walk, the snow was really bad. The roads with hills have been closed off, meaning I had to leave my car whilst I took a doggy home. The police kept an eye on the dogs and car for me.
A car nearly skidded off the road going round a bend coming towards us 💩
One of the dogs managed to bite their tongue whilst playing it looked like a mass murder had taken place, the snow making it look far worse than it was 🙄
Nearly ended up on my bum at least three times and now I can't feel my fingers - The dogs had fun though!

Cup of tea or a gin and tonic needed. 🤣

My last day will be on Friday the 17th of March.

I will miss each and every one of these beautiful dogs, all my best friends....

GOOD NEWS : I collected my car Friday

BAD NEWS : It is now worse than what it was before!
I can't even get it into gear! 😭
So my car is currently on the road waiting for a pick up to go back to the garage that originally said it was fixed. 😡
I think it's going to be a big job which isn't great.
All I can do is apologise. it's totally out of my hands, and it's been a stressful few days all round.

I will keep everyone updated.

Offering Day Care for any of my dogs that I'm unable to walk while my car is in the garage. I still don't know when it's being fixed, or how much it's going to cost me. I'm dreading it! 🙈

Little Reggie learning recall

Slow and sniffy walk today as we had a our new crew member Reggie. He's only a baby so he still has a lot to learn about the world. Today we taught him our 'up' command. I tend to use this for when we have a photo on a log or bench or even if then have to jump over something.
I'm so lucky to have such good doggos that can show the newbies how it's done. 🐾 Video in comments of reggie and recall 💙

Keeping those little toe beans soft and smooth with Paw Balm in this frosty weather. I always dab some on before we set off for our walks when it's frozen ground, it helps protect those little tootsies 🐾
All the doogos had their coats on, so were snuggly warm on our adventure today.

The dogs run through cold muddy puddles and then hate the nice fresh soapy warm water 🙈 #muddypaws

It's not ALL about 'the walk', it's engaging with them, having fun, leaning our recall and our sit and waits. It's about scatter feeds to keep there minds active and those noses to the floor, it's about exploring new places and different environments. Dogs love to learn and be active and have some great adventures to look forward to, everyday is different. I go to different places, not the same boring walk every day, so there's always new sniffs to be had. I love to mix it up and make it fun and engaging every day. Our Story

Wiggle Butts Dog Services (Nicola Wall) are a local business based in Mapperley, Nottingham. Established summer 2016.

We provide dog walking and boarding services in our own home including daycare

Wiggle Butts are: Canine First Aid Trained which includes:

*Full body examination *Road Accidents *Vitals *Burns and scalds *CPR *Poisoning *Shock *Heat stroke *Choking *Eye injuries *Bleeding *Broken bones.

We always carry a canine first aid kit on our walks.

Accredited Diploma in Canine Behaviour. Which includes:

*History Of Dogs *Breeds And Different Senses *The Dogs Brain . *Social Structure And Emotion*Canine Body Language*Environmental/Owner Influences *Health And Hormones *The Way Dogs Learn *How To Train A Dog *Changing Behaviour *Punishment And Discipline *Aggression.

We are fully insured by Pet Plan Sanctuary. We are happy to provide references and certificates. Nicola also worked in a pet superstore and has had on the job training in animal nutrition.

DOG WALKING.

I collect dogs from their own home and take them on an adventure alongside other friendly dogs (unless specified lone walks). Dogs travel in my SUV fitted with made to measure dog guards and crates. I have tinted windows and air con to keep the dogs safe and comfortable. I only walk at safe and appropriate locations and only walk well socialised , friendly dogs in small groups. Group walks have huge benefits for dogs as it aids in their socialisation. This provides the most fun and entertainment that any dog will ever need and will be sure to go home tired after a fun packed adventure. (Lone walks on lead or off lead available subject to availability)

BOARDING: EXCLUSIVE FOR DOG WALKING CLIENTS ONLY.

Many owners dread having to take their dogs to kennels as they may have reservations about the conditions and services they offer. Here at WiggleButts we are pleased to offer an alternative to using kennels.When your dog comes to stay with us they become part of our family for the duration of their stay. They will sleep in their own bed and they will have their freedom giving you piece of mind in a loving home. We are fully licensed by Gedling Borough Council and have been vet approved for boarding.

*We only take dog friendly dogs for boarding.

*We only take dogs that are fully up to date with vaccinations.

*We like dogs to be housetrained (depending on age

*We can board up to 2 dogs at a time.

*We provide all dogs that come to stay with us with a special ID tag with our name, address and phone number on for your piece of mind.

DOGGY DAYCARE EXCLUSIVE FOR DOG WALKING CLIENTS ONLY FROM 8.00AM TO 6.00PM (CAN BE FLEXIBLE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY)

If your dog fancies a change why not book them in for doggy daycare? Your dog will come to Wiggle Butts home for a day and also go out for a walk with the rest of the WiggleButts gang. They will be provided with plenty of fun and exercise and of course that much needed rest after a busy walk.
