Selston Equestrian Centre is located in the village of Selston in the district of Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. Although set in peaceful countryside, we are just 5 minutes from both junction 27 and 28 on the M1. We are a 5* livery yard offering tailored packages to suit both you and your horseโ€™s needs. Our professional staff go above and beyond to offer the best quality of care and attention to you

r horse. Whether you are a leisurely no-pressure rider or a professional who is out competing, we can offer you and your horse a fantastic stabling and training facility here at Selston Equestrian Centre. We host a wide range of training, shows & events at our venue including showing, working hunter, show jumping and dressage competitions on a regular basis. Our fantastic choice of arenas, event stabling, hard-standing car parking with an on-site cafe & gin bar make for a fantastic day out. Recognised as โ€˜The Midlandsโ€™ premier equestrian venueโ€™, our excellent facilities and beautiful arenas are available to hire on an hourly rate or as a day rate for show and competition organisers and to professionals to offer training and clinics. It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the remaining dates for the 2024/2025 Winter Series Show Jumping events. Despite our repeated efforts to gather your feedback on potential schedule adjustments aimed at boosting participation, the response has been minimal. Consequently, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the final three dates for 2025.

We understand the disappointment this may cause and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Our goal has always been to provide a platform for equestrian enthusiasts to showcase their talents and passion. Unfortunately, the lack of engagement has left us with no viable alternative.

We will continue to explore ways to foster interest and participation in future show jumping events. Your input is invaluable to us, and we encourage you to share any suggestions or ideas you may have for upcoming seasons.

Following a recent committee meeting, we would like to hear your feedback for how we run the remainder of the winter series 2024/2025.

Prior to recommencing our series in October, we asked for your input on 3 different scenarios for running of events through the winter series. Following this, we changed our Showjumping from a Friday evening to a Saturday evening however have had to cancel both the November and December showjumping due to very low entries.

Due to this, we unfortunately have to cancel our two January events:
