Yesterday was the longest morning of our lives, waiting around, doing fake shopping in tesco, picking up stuff we didn't want to pass any time we could whilst our boy Chocolate went in to be neutered.
Our vets Dixon & Young - Ollerton were absolutely brilliant Yesterday!
They were lovely and understood how anxious we were about the whole thing.
They loved him!
He's safe, back home, snuggled in the blanket and getting all the love. ๐งก

I mean, since being neutered, we have had some time out for recovery.

Hoovering is a daily task in a household and you should be able to hoover whenever and wherever you like without your dog jumping about, running after and lunging at the hoover.
Hugo can now lay in his bed, whilst his family hoover around him, getting a head stroke as she passes ๐

Your dogs walk always starts at home.
If your dog is trying to lunge out of every door/gate to get out as quickly as possible, it's not going to be a, structured and calm walk.
After a few attempts, we achieved this in one hour, aswell as walking on loose lead. ๐
A calm dog, is a happy dog. ๐พ
Her owner has been SMASHING it at home and I've been getting lots of updates of all the hard work they have been Putting in together ๐๐พ

How a 1-1 walk looks with Nottingham Dog Walking

Here we have Atlas the Doberman ๐
We do 2 1-1 walks a week whilst the parents are working ๐ฏ
We always go from the home on foot, never chucked in a van and let out at a field.
We always do live environmental work whether that be people, other dogs, loud noises, shops etc

My sessions are not all about do this and do that.
.
They are about ensuring the human is just as comfortable during their walks whether that be with confidence building, the way they hold their leads & ensuring they aren't causing pressure on their bodies leading to injury.
Confidence is a huge thing when it comes to working with your dog.
If you take the lead, the dog will follow & bond with you.

Training is a journey and before we started this, teddy would pull mums arm out of her socket...now, after our 1dt lead walking session, they are doing so well!

Every morning we have a snuggle routine, we all get into the bed and have kisses and cuddles.
It's truly the best way to start the day.

Crates are a great safe space for dogs and should always be introduced to them as a positive space.
Here we introduce Zenna to the crate for the first time, and let's just say, by the end of the hours session, she didn't even leave when we went to the front door...with the crate door open! ๐
