Unfortunately, no second walk today, Friday 6th June. Major accident on the A6097 and we can't get out of the village. Lots of play in the back garden.
We may be late returning some dogs home due to the gridlocked traffic. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Part 6, the final act!
The most important part of our mission after linking up with Dr Oy, was to locate and repatriate the immensely valuable artifacts that had been lost in the mists of time. This was why Dr Oy was here in the first place! Armed with a treasure map Dr Oy had obtained, we were led to Atlantico beach, where after some searching and digging (X marks the spot!) we found the chest and to everyone's surprise, it contained Laura's Marbles!
Operation Canicas - the arduous search was finally completed. The world is a safer place once more!

Part 5 (penultimate part).
"Send a signal, once you successfully reach this milestone in the mission" said agent 'L'.
"What kind of a signal ?" Asked plushpuppy.
"I don't know" said L, "Something touristie, so you don't blow your cover! Build a snowman on the beach!"
"You realise it's 21/22° out there?!" Padwags replied.
"Build it out of shells!" Said agent L.
"But I don't know how to ask 'Is your name Michelle?' in Spanish ...."
That was when the fight started!!

Part 4
On day 12 of our adventures, we made a dramatic discovery in our search for Dr Oy! No doubt you have already guessed her true identify! There are plenty of clues in the pictures and story, leave a thumbs up in the comments without writing her name ...
Unfortunately, this was the day agent R (aka Rosie Posie) had to return to the UK for another important assignment.
Having worked out who our contact was, we then had to send the coded signal back to our handler, agent L, and proceed with the final part of our assignment. This was a challenge in itself!

Part 3.
Around day five, we leveraged a local to get us onto an undercover operation onto neighbouring island of Lanzarote, which required us to navigate a dangerous crossing over the tumultuous sea! Once there, we gained access to a 'villans' lare, at the summit of a volcano, hoping to find Dr Oy, but we were thwarted once again, and barely made out it out intact!
After a couple of days recuperating, we helped form part of a crack specialist team searching in the wilds of the south of the island around La Parad. Using specialist transport, whilst enduring the most challenging of terrains and weather conditions. Both good men and vital equipment was lost on this mission, and although we made it out unscathed, our efforts were for nought! Still no sign of Dr Oy. Were our efforts doomed to fail?

(Part 2 - not sure of how many ...🙄)
Our handler (agent 'L') had also warned us there was something fishy about Dr Oy! We spent 12 days 'trawling' the island for our contact, all the while posing as tourists, but Dr Oy, it turns out, was extremely elusive! Many locals could recall seeing her, but none could remember when or where they had! Were we going to fail in this key part of our mission?

You may have been wondering what happened to the posts from our holiday? My original post said that this was the 'next' chapter, and this chapter is titled "The arduous search!"
Posing as tourists, we had a number of missions to complete, and now we can reveal some of the details.
The first and quite important task was to find and liaise with our local contact. But we were warned, they were extremely elusive, and known only as 'Dr Oy'.

It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of our faithful and inspiration friend, Jasper.
Also known to Rose and I as Pid-Pad-Wags, or Padwags for short, Wendy bought Jasper for Rose around Roses' 12th birthday, and Jasper has played a big part in all our lifes for nearly 13 years. As most of you have now worked out, he was also the motivation and inspiration behind me starting my Petcare business just over 7 years ago, and calling it Padwags.
