Well thats a wrap!!

Doggy Moggy and Co: 2017-2023

The final team Doggy Moggy walks are all done. It has been such an emotional week saying my goodbyes to my absolutely amazing team of doggies. I feel completely blessed to have had the most special few years walking with your fabulous fur babies and honoured that you, my wonderful customers, have entrusted me with their care. We have had so many adventures together, playing, chasing, rolling (not always in the nicest smelling things), paddling, wading through mud up to our knees, seeking out the shade on the 'occasional' day the sun actually makes an appearance, sheltering from torrential down pours, doing zoomies in the snow, re routing walks to avoid the cows....... and generally having the best time with our friends. I have a heart that is full with the most treasured memories that I will certainly keep with me forever.

💙💙 THANK YOU to each and every single one of you who have made Team Doggy Moggy so special. 💙💙

The Friday feeling is certainly very very different this week on team Doggy Moggy. A day filled with so much emotion as we did our very last walks together and said our final farewells. The friday crew.......Hugo 💔 and Alfie 💔.

I have been completely overwhelmed by everyones support and generosity, from much needed hugs, your extremely kind words and a huge collection of gifts 🥰

We have a dog down !! Rosko (self appointed Doggy Moggy head of all walking activities) is currently feeling very sorry for himself as he has aquired himself a horrible eye ulcer 😔. He will be temporarily stepping back from our walks and getting lots of rest.......he is far from impressed with this but i have assured him that in the short term i can manage without his assistance whilst he recovers.

A saturday afternoon well spent. A fantastic canine 1st aid course run by Muttleys Dog Walking and Canine First Aid Training covering lots of very useful information and 'what to do's' should we ever find ourselves in a situation requiring 1st aid attention.
Note to team Doggy Moggy........I DO NOT intend to practice these skills anytime soon so no injuries please !

GNR 2023 done 👍
Crazy intense sunshine to start running in and the worst rain i have ever been caught in shortly after we finished ........but still the most AMAZING event to take part in. Certainly a memory maker.
Running trainers packed away and walking trainers prepared ready for the start of our Doggy Moggy walking week (albeit a day later this week).

Last day of the school holidays means it's the last day (until October 😉) of Team Doggy Moggys extra helpers 😥 I know i will miss their help on our walks and the doggies will most definitely miss the extra playmates.
We have had a great few weeks of fun and adventures.

Rosko and i have had a truly fabulous sunny week in Devon on our holidays. Rosko is never overly impressed that he has to camp but visiting the donkeys and lots of beach fun made up for that i think 😅
We are looking forward to seeing our 'Team Doggy Moggy' besties this week for lots of walking fun 🐾🐾

Team Doggy Moggy have been in training to dog walk in ANY season it would seem over the last few weeks....... rain, blustery wind, freezing cold, clear blue skies, bright sunshine, more rain, lots of mud, days wearing too many layers to days where far more layers were needed. They say variety is the spice of life xx

2023 did not start as smoothly as we would have hoped for .......replacing my van was NOT in my plans!! A few weeks of frustration and inconvenience which was made sooo much easier with the amazing support of some fabulous people helping me out with chauffeur driven walks, borrowed vehicles and general emotional support.......We have had a week off on holiday and we are now back up and running !! 😊🐶🐾

Team Doggy Moggy (and their brilliant humans) have been amazing as always and helped me to continue smiling. A big thank you to you all.

I am beyond devastated to have to share with you all the very sad news that team Doggy Moggys very own MEG has this morning gained her angel wings and crossed over rainbow bridge.

Meg was a founder member of team Doggy Moggy, she has always been an absolute joy and has given me so so many reasons to smile.

Meg i feel honoured to have been your dog walker and to have spent so many walks together and i will hold onto the many many fantastic memories i have, most noticeably your never ending energy for a tennis ball and your 'fondness' to always take a swim no matter what the weather/temperature or how clean the water...........you are still the ONLY dog i have EVER had to get into the river trent for 😅.

You will always have a very special place in my heart Meg 🐾
