we will take unwanted animals from all over the uk as long as they can be transported safely to the rescue. We take from the public, councils, dog wardens, rescues, police, pet shops and breeders. If we are full we may forward you to another rescue that will take your pets. We use foster homes for Dogs not kennels. If you need help with an unwanted pet or would like to donate please give the rescue a call between 11am and 4pm. Please note we are closed Wednesday and Thursday.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our follows a Happy Christmas. Thank you all for all your amazing support throughout the year. Thank you for all the cards and donations. I would also like to mention the fosterers who contributed their time and love to the animal they foster. We are now closed for adoptions till the 6th January 2025. We will still be answering the phone and taking animals in to find new homes in the new year.

Bean is an indoor male rabbit 1 year old that is looking for a home with lots of freedom and a bonded wife. He is friendly, neutered and vaccinated. If you think you can give him a loving home please call the rescue from 11am Friday. He will not be rehomed to live out side in a hutch or on his own as he is a house rabbit. Home checks will be carried out to make sure he has suitable accommodation.

Thank you so much for this donation from our Amazon wish list.

Does anyone recognise this little lady? She’s been brought into us as she was found running across the bypass in Hucknall limping with a badly damaged tail, so we are trying to find her owners as she isn’t microchipped 😢 if you recognise her please give us a call in the morning 🐾

Dogs escape during fireworks they panic and bolt , they will look for an escape routes to get away from the lights , the smell the horrific noise that come with today's permitted bombs .

Dogs will push past owners whilst at an open external door , jump through windows (sometimes through the glass ) and through cat flaps.

Your garden with the six foot fence is a mere inconvenience, most will scale to escape , they will go through or dig under , a small but safe inconvenience would be to keep your dog on a lead .

Dogs will slip harnesses and collars while on walks , doesn't matter if it's night or day , double up on the lead and don't think it's just a quick five minutes, you're setting your dog up to fail .

Whilst most pet owners absolutely hate fireworks and accidents do happen it's our responsibility to keep or pets safe .

Please be careful.
