We are now accepting block bookings for next year’s appointments.

Whether you want to book a handful of appointments, 6 months worth or the whole year we got you.

Block booking is a good idea if you:-

Require a specific day or time.
Have multiple dogs.
Require a more frequent groom schedule.
Or you require a specific groomer.

If you would like to be added to our list please leave us a comment, stating your dogs name, schedule and if you require a specific day, time or groomer.

So excited to officially introduce you all to our wonderful new stylist OLIVIA.

You may have already seen Olivia in the salon as she has been our Saturday girl for the last year, she’s enjoyed her Saturday role so much that she decided a career in dog grooming was what she wanted to do.

So with some encouragement from the rest of the team, Olivia has recently completed her level 3 diploma.

Olivia worked so hard on her course, her passion for grooming and all things dog shone throughout, her knowledge and skill set has grown and she has a true talent and natural way with all the dogs.

We are all so proud 🥹 of her and all she has achieved, and are excited to watch her grow.

We want to wish our G.O.A.T, Emma, a very happy (belated) birthday for yesterday!

We all went out on Saturday night to a 90s rave and were a bit worse for wear 😂

She always says that she still feels 16 inside, so we will wish her a Happy 16th Birthday 🎂

Life is too short to be lived counting the years. Just enjoy the ride and make some awesome memories with the ones you love 💜

I won’t put any embarrassing photos up of her, as she’ll have my guts for garters!

We didn’t just sit and spectate yesterday 👀

We also attended 2 fantastic seminars! Hosted by 2 of the best groomers in the industry.

At Urban pooch our aim is to never stop learning and developing our skills, so we can always be on the cutting edge of new trends and bring you guys the best and most professional service possible.

We will be attending a lot more seminars during 2025. 🙌🏼

As you know we spent yesterday cheering 📣 on our stylist Charlie as she competed in her very first grooming competition.

Our girl did good 😊 in a large class of 30 dogs 🐕 sadly she didn’t manage to place this time but received some very positive feedback from the judges.

Needless to say Emma, Beth and Olivia are all super proud 🥹 of her and how well she did.

Now onto the next one 💪🏻

🦷Pearly white teeth to brighten the day 🌟

Hopfully in the near future, we will soon be able to open up our books again for ultrasonic teeth cleaning 😁

My reason for having to close the teeth appointments, was that I was getting a good few dogs coming in with wobbly teeth with also gum disease. This does not replace a vet treatment. If your vet has advised a full scale and polish or with possible teeth removal, then please get them done as bad teeth can be very painful. Unfortunately, we all know, as pet owners they can hide their pain very well 😔

I will also need them to be used to having there face and mouth handled, as sometimes I will need to use sharp tools to help remove plaque.

If you are wanting the teeth cleaning service, please mention in the comments below and I will put you on my wait list.
When booking, a clear photo will be needed of your dogs teeth.
(This service is still available for current teeth cleaning clients)

Hi everyone Charlie here. 👋🏻
As from today (6th July) Emma and Beth are both on holiday till 13th July. I will be looking after the salon while they enjoy a well deserved break 👏🏻
But don't worry your pooches will still be looking their best when they leave the salon.

If you need to contact us please message on Facebook or call 01159988415 and leave a message, and I will do my best to get back in contact with you ASAP.
I just ask if you can please drop off and pick up on time to help keep the appointments in flow.

I know still haven't had the pleasure of meeting you all yet, so I will leave you with picture of my gorgeous grooming competition dog Fleur 💕
