We are developing a non for profit branch as a dog rescue centre. We have helped foster a range of dogs and train and care for them over the years and have the facilities and expertise to be able to help even if in smaller numbers than larger organisations. After volunteering in a rescue overseas that helps saves strays that have been dumped/tied to posts in horrific conditions etc this has just sped up our mission.

This will be focused on our main area of expertise being hunting type dogs, spaniels labs pointers etc as we are highly skilled in the training of these, we will of course help other breeds as and were possible too.

We are doing everything at our own costs feeding training, housing etc but looking for as much help as possible to allow us to continue. Our core focus is to of course help the dogs find homes but also utilise our team of trainers to rehabilitate or simply train them so they can integrate into a family home with ease.

We will be doing lots of fundraisers so anyone who has anything to donate to raffles such as products or services to help us do fun raffles etc to fund raise will be welcome please drop us a message.

We are looking for food/blankets/dog beds (not human quilts as these cant be washed daily)/toy donations, of course fund raising for vet care, but also volunteers this can be registering to take the dogs on walks, grooming, even outside trainers, cleaners willing to help with day to day care and handymen willing to help build and create new environmental areas for them on our plot. Please drop us a message if you can help with any of the above.

We will also be looking for sponsors of the dogs and or equipments willing to help.

Please also message us your details if you would be interested in rehoming a dog as we can tailor a dogs training for your lifestyle - I.e runners, active families, lap dogs and so on.

These are being staged as projects to ensure standards remain high for the dogs at all times project 1 is the first 10 dogs and we have a fund raiser below, project 2 will be extending our paddock/play areas for them to have more space this will be simply fencing it in and landscaping.

Please share guys

Its been such a worrying time for XL type dog owners and of course we have had many messages and mixed rules from defra and insurers in relation to field hire and being off lead/muzzled etc. The gist of it in short is you can still use the field as long as you follow certain rules they set, it is your own private land during your slot without public access so the muzzle and lead can come off :D! Insurances wont cover the majority of things because of this so you do need your own insurance in place.

So to answer the majority of questions a bit more clearly we are receiving rules, I will put below what we know/rules at the current time, if this changes we will of course post an update. We want to just remind all that we love all breeds and any rules we have to apply are because we have to apply them unfortunately and not supported or created by us :(

The rules we have been given are:

Any XL bully 'types' and or other banned breeds, (just as a sad reminder your dog does not have to meet all the characteristics of their 'type' definition, if your dog meets a majority of the characteristics they can still be 'typed' under the same banner, please do research for your dog to be sure):

1. Must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate must be made available to us on request

2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us

3. The dog handler ratio has to be 1:1 with their owner at all times

4. The dog is Neutered

5. The dog is Micro Chipped and up to date details

6. The field is private property with no public access passing through which means you can remove the lead and muzzle when securely in the paddock (however you can drive onto our paddock so this makes it easier)

7. The field is securely fenced and locked so the dog cannot escape - this applies to all dogs and very very rare but please give the gate a wobble and be sure you have closed and secured it properly to extra vigilant

8. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field

9. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled or secured inside the vehicle before opening the gate to leave the field (not free roaming in the car with a possibility of escape basically)

10. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field

If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs (this cannot be members of different households).

If there is more than 1 banned breed in the household they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.

So with all the sad rules in place, the good news out of all of this is you can still give your dogs some off lead, off muzzle freedom to run play and be a dog!

We have to work together to ensure we can continue to offer this service to 'banned breeds' so as much as it breaks our heart anyone not following the rules will have to stop using the field, this is only because we don't ever want a scenario were they don't let us provide a safe space for all dogs and we do nothing to make them remove secure fields as an off lead option.

We can also help with muzzle training for anyone worried please message our training page FTK9

A few of our field clients have tried to use the sale code we have on at our field hire for their boarding/daycare bookings, please note these are seperate and that code is for the field hire only :D

We only have around 4 slots available for boarding over Christmas and New years left but we will offer a 10 percent discount on our boarding, training and daycare to extend our field closure sale :D.

We will match our field sale and offer this 10 percent discount until 31st December. This means any bookings made from now upto this date will receive a 10 percent price reduction. All you need to do is secure your booking online, pay your deposit to secure it and inbox us on here with the code CHRISTMAS and one of our team will apply it to your booking 😊😊.

Please note this offer cannot be used on existing bookings, in addition to any other discounts, or after the 31st.

To be clear this doesn't mean your booking has to be within this date, your booking can be for any date as long as you book in by the 31st you'll be eligible 😀

Guys with a heavy heart but also excitement, I have to announce that fleurs field is relocating. Our paddock is sadly clashing with the farms traditional shoots this past season.

We are sad to see our baby go as the past 5 years have allowed us to meet so many amazing people and dogs! We have the best memories on this paddock with both our dogs, daycares and our customers.

However, on a bitter sweet note we are relocating to a neighbouring farm field away from any wildlife/shoots etc and nice easy access its only about 5 minutes away from our current paddock. This will allow us to be able to offer slightly increased parking spaces in the field as opposed to the current 1 car space as well as likely longer opening hours :D we are going to increase lighting for darker evenings also at the new site.

In terms of timings we will remain open until the end of May, we won't be able to accept any bookings after May for this field.

We do not have a set date for the new field opening as of yet as we have to top and seed it and fence and install electrics etc so there will likely be a small time lapse between the one field closing and second opening but we will keep you posted at each stage.

If you have our subscription packages please be sure to use up the minutes in the month of May and then cancel the subscription after you have secured your slots, cancelling your subscription wont impact secured bookings (don't cancel before using your minutes up as this will cancel any you have left over)

We love you all and can't wait to be able to transition to new exciting space :D

(Please note this is not a notice to not care for the space, we will still continue to ban people who purposely leave p**p or holes over the next 6 months as not to spoil it with others, if you do get banned you will loose any future slots secured)

Hi everyone!!

Hope the torrential rain isn’t stopping your fun!

We just wanted to do a post regarding the daycare on site at Haywood oaks!

Unfortunately it’s come to our attention that Rebecca at K9 Playtime - Doggy Day Care is getting disturbed through the day from people asking questions about the field!

We wanted to let everyone know that Rebecca is not part of our business and has nothing to do with the field, please refrain from knocking on her door as it’s disturbing her daycares!

She has asked us to let everyone know that if there is ever an emergency (I.e a dog fight/injury) or if there is no water to please call her directly and she will come over to help! (I’ll add her number at the bottom for you)

We are around all through the day via the phone and emails are checked through the day!

Any queries/questions please contact us directly

☎️ - 07842286633
📧 - [email protected]
☎️ - 07342984948 (Rebecca in the event of emergencies only‼️)

Thanks everyone 💕

Has anyone left a green puffy coat at the field :D we have popped it in the fat yard next to the field incase it rains

19/09/2023

Sadly we are not doing a positive post again! On our current check and clean up we have used over 12 large bags of top soil in addition to soil on the field to fill in the holes over 3 hours.

We know dogs like to dig and can get excited but please monitor your dogs for p**ps and digging. If your dog does begin to dig please call them off and use the field scoop to refill the hole with the soil dug out. When they get left the soil is spread around the field requiring us to keep purchasing more and delays between them being filled.

These are not only dangerous to you walking around but also potentially for your dog running around. We have always prided ourselves on having a safe space to have worry free walks, people leaving holes and p**p are not only ruining this for others but yourselves too!

We are applying our no tolerance rule to holes as well as p**p. We will be reviewing cctv daily outside of our field checks and anyone found to be leaving p**p or holes behind for others will be banned from using the field, future bookings will be cancelled and cleaning fees and repairs will be deducted from any refund off future bookings.

Please message us on here if you find a hole or p**ps during your walk and we will immediately check the bookings prior to yours to narrow down cctv searches and more promptly find the culprits, to prevent them ruining it for others, especially our loyal regulars who rely on us.

We have so many amazing customers and are making it our mission to ensure our field is treated with respect and a safe space for all as it previously was, we hate to be negative or strict but sadly it's come to this stricter approach to ensure we only have respectful customers using the space :D

05/09/2023

Hey all! Just a polite notice we have realised some customers have been placing out some bread etc over the fence for the ducks, this is encouraging them into the paddock which of course we want to avoid

please refrain from feeding any of the farm birds 🙏

Thanks in advance ☺️

Just a little update, whilst the dogs love a good sniff in long grass it's certainly a mare for cleaning!

Sadly it appears some children (we assume based on writing engraved in our mower) have broken several components of our ride on mower. We are awaiting some replacement parts to arrive and in the meantime are awaiting a day for the farms tractors to give it a trim whilst we await parts.

We are on it guys and apologise for any delays. Big love from the fleurs team ❤️

What we do

Fleurs Friendly Fields has a fully enclosed private dog walking paddock for hire in the Nottinghamshire area (Haywood Oaks NG21 0PE). It will include free fun agility obstacles, on site training and doggy daycare, we will also hold puppy and breed specific socialisation groups and fun informal shows and events.

It is designed to be a safe environment that will reduce the amount of dogs in public playing parks, protect the dog against other unwanted dogs approaching or simply an area to train your dog on recall in a space your dog can run free with absolutely no worries. It can be privately hired in 30 minute or 60 minute time slots for the likes of:

- Fun for owners and dogs to try out the obstacles

- Nervous dogs
