EXCITING NEW OWNERSHIP OF MANOR HOUSE EQUESTRIAN

For more than 60 years “The Manor” has been the happiest of homes to the Sutton Family. For nearly 20 years it has also been the home and heart of Manor House Equestrian.
It is, therefore with a huge mix of emotion, that we announce that the Sutton family are relocating to pastures new.
We have been so very lucky to have sold the Manor to the Green family who will be adopting the livery business in its entirety.
Staff will remain the same, with Jacey Magdee efficiently running the yard day to day and Annie Green, carefully and diligently steering the ship!

Annie has some fabulous new ideas with an extensive network of off-road riding being one of them!
The high standard of care that Manor House has become synonymous for over the years will remain top priority both for horses and their humans.

We wish to thank all of our clients past and present, for being part of our journey, we have in the majority of cases been blessed and without clients there is no business so we truly thank you all.

We would like to wish Jacey Magdee all the love and luck in the world in her new position as she has been such a massive support to our family both through her work and personally, and of course to the Green family who are literally taking the reins! Annie Greens enthusiasm, attention to detail and relentless hard-work, will ensure that Manor House Equestrian continues to go from strength to strength!

We have had an enjoyable few days playing host to Equissage Europe who have run another successful training course. The horses have loved being models for the students. We wish the newly qualified candidates that are now starting their new enterprise lots of luck for the future.

Roger is extremely happy at Manor House. He settled in immediately when he arrived 3 years ago.
My horse for me is my escapism and it’s crucial to me that where he lives gives me my happy place.
Manor House has given me that in spades. The facilities are fantastic and I can either chill out with my riding or ramp it up for competing.
The yard has kept me sane through Covid and cancer. Roger has been on full livery for lengthy periods with me too poorly to come up and I never had to worry about his care and well being which I is priceless.
I love everyone up there and I’m blessed to have a wonderful yard family.
Helen and Marcus are lovely people and would do anything for you. They have become great friends and confidantes. This also extends to their children, furry ones included!!
Helens lessons are fantastic and over the years that has included private and group lessons. Outside trainers are also welcomed on to yard. Helen and Abi are excellent riders and also offer exercising horses if needed.
Having also worked on the yard I can say I loved every minute. Fun and professional!
I think I can surmise that this yard ticks all the box’s xx

If you have a colic prime horse those is the yard for you 🤣 day and night snoopy care!! On a serious note Since a little girl I’ve always been with my mum on our private field with stables I had no choice but to move snoopy as she was so unsettled at my mums, I was so nervous after hearing about all the bitchyness etc etc that goes on on Yard’s but nearly 5 years later I’m here and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done I just wish i had these facilities and a yard family when I was younger, but making up for it now. My favourite thing is the horse walker, off road hacking and road hacking we are very lucky. I also worry about snoopy every day with her stressiness and couldn’t ask for a better team to look after her for me and take that worry away slightly. I know if there’s any problems I am contacted immediately and how could I forget ... I love that I can bring my children up (the crazy frenchie piglets) thank you for all being amazing friends especially throughout some of my hardest days ###

So our two E-riders this week have had their result. Meg and Denver in the junior section came 6th in her first ever test on Denver with an amazing 65% and Danni came 3rd in her 2nd E-RIDER test on Jasper with a whopping 73%. The girls worked so hard and I am thrilled for them ❤💜💙

What better than having an inhouse animal physiotherapist. Love the consultations with Hollee, she always takes time to walk you through her treatments and provides simple but effect post treatment management advice. Thoroughly recommended HLM ANIMAL PHYSIOTHERAPY.

This week we are practicing E-riders tests. Great if you have no transport, struggling to do certain show dates, have an inexperienced horse, struggle with show nerves or want to try out a new level!

Good luck to our livery Rachel Southworth and her ex racer Gent at ROR championship Aintree. They have both battled/battling injuries due to a freak accident, but the pair strutted their stuff for only the 2nd this season, and managed a first place in ROR qualifiers at Ashby show. They are showing first thing in the morning, and I wish them all the luck in the world.

Dressage training this morning, Playing with Future Classic Illusion, aka Ed the Foal this afternoon. Ed is 9 months old now and already showing how brave and bold he is. One day he will be out Eventing but until then he'll be having fun and taking on as many new experiences as possible.

Great day out today at Newbold Equestrian for a one day event. Abigail Sutton taking 2nd place and achieving her best Dressage test to date on her own, Future Fleeting Illusion aka (Bill). Looking forward to more competitions across the spring and summer with our own horses and liveries.

Had a great weekend at Manor House Equestrian, Abigail Sutton took her horse Bill to her first competition of the season. ABI and Bill managed a 2nd in 80cm and 3rd in the 90cm. Amy Potts and her horse Queen bee did their first dressage test and achieved a brilliant 67% and 3rd place. At home Natasha has had her first ride on our newest addition to the team, Neston Discovery. We will be introducing Joey officially this week, now he has settled. Very excited about him. Well done to Pippa Overton and Mia Whitehall, both are making excellent progress with their equine partners after having lost some confidence. Well done everyone.

Well done to our livery Natalie Morgan Knight who competed for the first time in 10 years this weekend. In a very competitive class of 40, Natalie and the amazing Snoopy managed an awesome 3rd place. Well done both.

I am extremely please to announce that Natasha Kemp has joined us at Manor House Equestrian as our full time yard supervisor. Natasha has worked around horses now for many years and has an extremely proffessional work ethic, with an eye to detail ensuring that your horse is healthy and happy. Natasha has bought along Wanda her lovely dressage partner whom she competes at Elementary and Medium level dressage. We are looking to expand upon our existing livery business, by offering more extensive and made to measure packages to suit everyones requirements.
