So on Friday 17th may I got a call from a fellow groomer telling me about a neglect case she was helping a Dog Rescue with & asked for my help to groom the 7 rescued dogs (which obviously I agreed to help however I could). During our discussion of the rescues/neglect case I was informed that there was 2 8month old pups at the property where they had got the rescues from but the owner would not allow them to take them as he was advertising/selling them & had a “buyer” for them.
So I got his contact details & called him to “enquire” about the pups being advertised. He was very forthcoming telling me he had 2 left for sale at £250 each.
So I arrange to go straight to him a 2 hour drive with Alexandra Watkins & Helen Clark in tow. When we got there the pups where actually with their mom (which Stacey & the rescue hadn’t seen as she was hidden away, no doubt to use again for breeding). Poor momma was in such a state there was no way we were going to leave her behind so after a lot of talking with the low life he allowed us to buy her too. * Now I know that lining this excuse of a mans pocket is not by any means the best thing to do but we could not leave these dogs the poor condition & his care any longer.
I have NEVER SEEN dogs in such poor condition 😢 it was heart breaking 💔
We are now trying to raise some funds to cover the cost of vets fees/treatments they may need as well as essential care.
