🍽️🐾 Teaching my dogs to settle in their beds in the kitchen while I cook has been one of the most useful things I’ve done! I introduced it gradually over time, and it really helps prevent counter surfing and keeps them out of the way while I’m busy. Plus, they love being close to me instead of stuck in another room! Another great training session with Ralphie, the energetic young working strain cocker spaniel, was a tail-wagging success! We transformed the walk into an exciting tennis ball hunt, allowing Ralphie to unleash his natural spaniel instincts. With his nose to the ground, he darted around, sniffing out each hidden ball and bringing them back like a pro! This engaging activity not only stimulated his mind and satisfied his spaniel needs but also strengthened his interaction & engagement with his owner —his recall has improved dramatically!

In our last Fun Gun Dog class we introduced Lola to retrieving a dummy instead of her beloved ball …. It’s safe to say she approached it with the same enthusiasm 🥰!!!
Following the recent uptake in our Fun Gun Dog Classes I’ve added a new beginners 4 week class starting Sunday 19th January at 11am £65 .
We introduce your dog to retrieving & different whistle commands in a fun way . The course is aimed at Pet Dog Owners who want to chanel their dogs inner Gun Dog in the right way .

They’ve all worked really hard completing distance recalls past other dogs in the class , retrieving items , sending their dog 5 metres away & asking them to sit . Loose lead walking past other dogs & items of temptation as well as a few other useful life skills 🌟🤩!!!
If you’d like to have some fun with your dog & learn some new skills our next follow on class dates are Thursday 9th January or Tuesday 21st January . Suitable for any dog from 6 months old , any ability .

Second session with Sid & his owners , working on loose lead walking . Sid has got into the habit of pulling his owner to get to his off lead walk quicker . We’ve broken the walk up into smaller segments with opportunities to stop & sniff to help Sid concentrate as well as doing lead walks which don’t always mean an off lead run at the end . At just under 12 months old Sid is acing it . Keep up the great work guys 🤩🌟!!!
