I haven’t posted in a while but this one deserves a post. I want to wish my right hand man the doggo that’s followed me around for the past 5 years the best of luck in his new adventure. You definitely get attached to your work dogs and they become like your own. Thank you for all the cuddles laughs and barks Gussy we love you ❤️❤️

Nothing irritates me more than seeing irresponsible dog owners walking their dogs in heat like today.

Please read this chart and actually take in the information provided, it’ll no doubt save your dogs life if you’re thinking of taking them for a lovely walk in the sunshine.

Just a quick insight to our new crate system!
Cannot thank Steve enough for helping me design and fitting them!

2 years ago we sat around the farm table as a family wondering if starting a dog walking business was a crazy idea and if we’d be as successful as we are now…what a milestone made!

…could my doggie models be any better?! Zak definitely was keen to stay in there all day ❤️

🌟Introducing Ottie⭐️ I’m so proud to finally introduce to you all little miss Ottie! Fun fact…she’s actually Nellys daughter 🙊 Nells be on maternity but finally back to work! Ottie shall be staying at home for a minuet and will be slowly introduced to the work team dogs as she gets a bit bigger! I swore blind I wouldn’t love another dog as much as I love nelly…but she’s stolen my heart! 🥰

Dear Mom and Dad"
Let me stay home. It's not nice for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to. And feel my paws burn.
I'm looking at you for a moment, but you do not understand. Because in a little over 5 minutes we're at the cool puddle, right? But those little 5 minutes can be fatal to me. Because I sweat through my paws, and in this heat I just can not get rid of the sweat. My whole body is boiling, but I keep going ...
And then I end up on the tarmac. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes flashing in the sun. My paws are burning, my tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of ...
Instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, somewhere in the shade. And best of all like in a cool area with grass.

❗️How hot is too hot?❗️

Have you seen the weather for Friday…are we sure this is the UK they’re talking about and not some tropical island?! 😍

As much as we love it…sadly your dog is going to hate it! Please take a good look at the heat stroke chart for dogs. I know it’s a nice day and peoples first thoughts can be…’it’s so nice outside shall we take the dog for a walk!?’ No please don’t.

Please be aware that black attracts the sun also so if you have a gorgeous black dog…it’s an extra no from them!

I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather this week, if it’s still promising to be 31 degrees on Friday then my afternoon dogs and daycares I shall be in touch with, even transporting them in the van is dangerous.

Let your dog enjoy having a lazy day indoors with nice cool ventilation watching you outside enjoying the sunshine thinking we’re all somewhere that has a pool and drinks on tap…more like the dogs/children paddling pool with them annoying bugs that like to land in our drinks 🙄🙈

If you haven’t already guessed then we’re lambing here on the farm!! Nelly is loving mothering the smaller lambs!! Our business is obviously on the farm and is where all your dogs come to play, so I do like to show you all from time to time sneak peaks into our main events in the farming world, so standby for the next couple weeks of sneaky lambing insights! 🐑
