I just wanted to share Teddy’s success so far. Teddy is a nervous Golden retriever, at 8 months old he is now in the adolescent phase.
I thought it would be helpful to share a bit of background. Teddy has always been nervous, because of this his handler became a bit worried about situations that could trigger him. His handler did not cause the nervousness, but Teddy needed to take confidence from his handler.
We are half way through a 6 week block and Teddy’s handler reports the “best week ever” of walks. We have been working on training exercises to build confidence outdoors and ways of building handler confidence.
I’m so pleased for them both in their progression so far and can’t wait to see the training develop!

Bad weather prevented work today, but didn’t stop me! Still plenty to do at little farm, what have you all been up to with your dogs? Let’s see your snow pics below! ❄️

I got another update on Tucker yesterday. Tucker used to find walks really hard, he was scared of other dogs and that used to display as lunging and barking. Check him out below during one of his socialisation sessions with a friend.
Well done to Tuckers handlers who have worked so hard! 👏👏❤️👏
