As part of their training our Tuesday progression class introduced the behaviour “bow” to their dogs. Apart from being a neat trick it’s a nice stretch for them.
Well done to the handlers!

I’ve just had a cancellation for Friday at 17:45 you can book it through the website

Great session last night with the Monday advanced group. Wyllis shared all his training wins and the whole group took part in some handler challenges.

Talking of recall, this lovely clip was sent in of little pup Max and his whistle recall.
Whistles are a great tool for recall and Max has really taken to it! Check it out below!
If you want help with recall get yourself booked it! It’s easy via the website!

19/08/2024

A good recall is where you ask your dog to return and they do so straight away, regardless of what’s around them. Ragnar came to me at 9 months old and his recall is really improving.
If you need help with recall why not book yourself some sessions?

Tricks are a great way to develop your training skills, have fun with your dog and develop your bond. What tricks do you guys do with your dogs?

Congratulations to team Margot who won best trick today at Arthington show! Great work 👏👏

Poppy and Willow (sibling labradors) had their second 1:1 session. I’m amazed at the progress they have made!
Willow in particular finds walks a challenge and this can show in lunging and barking. Although this will be a long journey and they have a block of 6 booked. After just one session things are already massively improved. Her handlers are working very hard and are already seeing some fab results!
If you need help with your dog why not book a one to one and start the journey.

12/08/2024

Our weekend groups smashing their sessions! Welcome to our new puppies also!

11/08/2024

It’s been a busy week of 1:1s, check out what they’ve all been working on here!
Apologies to Dougie, whose photo has disappeared! Will get you next time 😆
If you have a training goal, why not book a 1:1 to start your journey!

10/08/2024

Puppy Wilfred has just completed his puppy Lifeskills programme.
He’s also had a 6 block of 1:1s. It’s certainly paying off, look at this recall!

Missing a few dogs this week! But here’s our lovely Thursday advanced crew strutting their stuff

Could we all please just take a moment to appreciate Nell. At 12 months old this wonderful girl has been training with me since she was a pup. Her nickname in class is Tigger due to her excitement levels and bounce!
Check out her settle here, out in public, but check out the next picture to see how busy the environment was!
What an absolute testament to the work her family have put in well done!
If you need help settling your dog or have other training goals pop over to the website to get your journey started.

Not the best start to the day when the truck failed me! But she was back on the road in time for my evening class.
Many thanks to my day clients for their patience while I got things sorted, much appreciated!

Our puppy Lifeskills and progression groups are now in week 5. It’s been great watching them develop their skills and the dogs are now all able to work indoors in fairly close proximity to each other.
Group training can be a great way to teach your dog to listen to you around others. If you’d like to book onto one of our courses check out the website.

It’s been a busy few days so far. Check out the 1:1 dogs below.
I’ve been working with several of the pups below on block bookings which gives us plenty of chance to teach new behaviours and ensure they are progressed.
If you want to book a 1:1 simply visit the website and click schedule appointment now!

Busy day at the training centre yesterday, our advanced group worked hard on their exercises and I had two 1:1 sessions.
Poppy and Willow the siblings have started their training journey to make walks easier.
Lovely Minnie, 11 years young has a long history of barking, which we have started to work on….

19/07/2024

We are lucky to have our indoor training space. Although it’s been hot in the sun we were able to go ahead with all sessions.
Here’s a few of our one to ones from this week!
Apologies to those who I missed!

This evenings groups took it all in their stride!
Working in a group is a great way to progress what you have learned around the distraction of other dogs.
This doesn’t suit all dogs, so one to one training is a good alternative for those who struggle to cope in a group environment

Mondays 1/1 sessions… sadly I had to take the evening off for a vet trip, but I did get to see these smashers first!
Zeke returned for the second session of his second blocking 6. WOW what a difference! His handlers would be the first to say walks used to be hard, but reported today that they age actually enjoying walks now!
Lottie had her second session. She’s only been in her new home for a month and slowly but surely her confidence is increasing.

14/07/2024

We had a lovely 5th birthday session with the Saturday advanced group.
Thanks all for you kind comments and messages of support.
I feel blessed to work with such awesome people and dogs!
Here’s to another 5 years! 🍻🥂

13/07/2024

Our training centre is 5 years old today! Although we’ve been training for 8 years, our very own centre opened 5 years ago.
Last night we started the celebrations at Friday Night Dog Club!
