🚗🚗I’m just about recovered from a weekend on the road.

🐴🐴 This weekend was mostly prepping dressage horses for the BD Winter Championships this week.

Diary is open so if you need me in the next couple of weeks just shout.

Due to the staffing situation at home on the yard I now have availability to take on larger yards of sports horses for maintenance or pre competition prep. Distance is not an object if there are several horses to treat. Some big yards book a regular 6 weekly slot. If outside of my normal area then minimum numbers will apply.

This weekend took me from Devon to Gloucestershire then Shropshire back to Gloucestershire then down to Bournemouth.

Good news is the truck made it after last weeks hiccup. No treating photos from the weekend as usual but here’s one of my baby Tallulah catching up with her friend Lex who has been out on holiday for the winter

Not just horses all the time

I am back to work following my Christmas (I would like to say break, but truthfully - mucking out the yard so my staff could have a break)

Although I am definitely not on peak form having had covid in September which seems to have turned into long covid and left me with grumbling sinuses which flare up the minute I over do it, muscles that can barely lift a sack of feed never mind the Indiba into the car and a hazy forgetful brain.

Anyway if you need me please shout. Likewise if I’ve forgotten you - apologies

I am in Exeter this Sunday and have space in the afternoon

Gloucester will be the 14th or 15th and Cornwall is the 24th

There are spaces outside of this for those of you within an hour or so radius of the yard, or to come to the yard. Did you know it’s not just horses I also treat dogs, the odd donkey and even a few cats lately that had been hit by a car. When training we had our hands on a whole range of farm animals and I’m usually up for any challenge.

Here’s a picture of my pony that requires me to work this hard to keep him in the lifestyle to which he’s become accustomed 🥰

Treated a cat today. Not only that but he came in to me here at Lowton Equine Rehabilitation for treatment. Pretty sure it’s the first cat I’ve treated although the principles are much the same.

This from his owner tonight
