Join us for a free open day to meet our wonderful animals and learn how you can sponsor one! 🐴🐖🐢🐇We care for Shetland ponies, a large English white pig, a tortoise, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and more – all playing a vital role in animal therapy for the people we support and the general public.

Sponsorship helps us provide food, vet care, and enrichment, ensuring our animals stay happy and healthy.

Enjoy a free slice of cake and a drink while discovering how you can make a difference! 🍰☕

Already a sponsor? Great! We would love to see you so please do come along and spend some time with your animal.

Although this event is free we would appreciate if it you can register (see the ticket link) so we know how many cakes to bake! We’d love to see you there! 💚🐾

Our café at Made-Well, Hatherleigh is now open on Saturdays 9am - 4pm (as well as week days) until the Autumn. Reopening on Sundays from 6th April.

⭐ Hot & cold meals, drinks, homemade cake and snacks.
⭐ Eat in or takeaway.
⭐ Freshly made nutritious frozen meals (freezer to microwave), handmade gifts & homegrown/local produce.
⭐ Children's corner with books and quiet toys.
⭐ Community library - swap, borrow or purchase one of our books (we take donations).
⭐ Free wi-fi.
⭐ Free parking.

Bring your friends and family or come alone and meet new people. We're a friendly bunch 😊

🌟 Exciting News for Home-Educated Families! 🌟

Our Home Education Sessions at Made-Well are now open for booking! Each of these session includes animal care with a different focus animal and a fun, themed craft! 🐾🎨 .

Please note our sessions will run term time on tuesdays to start with.

🐐 18th March – Guernsey Goats & Goat-Themed Crafts
🐢 25th March – Tortoise Care & Shell-Inspired Crafts
🐰 1st April – Rabbit Care & Bunny-Themed Crafts

Our very own Tobi has bravely volunteered to have his legs waxed for Red Nose Day on Friday, 21st March – all in the name of “Doing Something Funny for Money!” 🎉💪

🌿 Enhance Your Garden with Our Handcrafted Bird Boxes and Bug Houses! 🌿

Thanks to the generous support from the Wild About Devon Fund 2024 by Devon Communities Together, our skilled wood workshop team at Made-Well has crafted beautiful bird boxes and bug houses. These are now available to our local community at a special price of £4 for the bird houses and £3 for the bug houses.

How to Get Yours:

If you live locally within an 8 mile radius of Made-Well, visit us or contact us directly to purchase (please provide proof of locality, eg a utility bill).

Let’s come together to create a thriving environment for our local wildlife.
