Kinematics of a push round wrap
When thinking about whether our dogs are capable of what we ask of them in dog sports it’s good to know exactly what is required.
This is the lovely River performing a push round wrap. Her hock (tarsus) & hip reach maximum or close to maximum extension on take off with wrist (carpus) hyperextended and elbow maximum flexion on landing.
It’s really important your dogs are prepared for the job we want them to do but also that we treat them like athletes we expect them to be.
I will cover this and more in the Agility Dogs Conditioning workshop Sunday 2nd April
