I am now offering pet sitting from your own home, a personalised service catered to your own requests.

Give yourself peace of mind that your dog is being cared for and worked with all day for you to return home and your pooch trained to a higher standard.

I will provide encrichment and breed specific stimulation activities to fully satisfy both you, and your pups needs.

We will work on anything you're struggling with, from behavioural issues at home to reactivity when out walking - reworking your dogs routine in the comfort of their own home for you to continue upon your arrival back!

Once you're home and settled in, we will do a full training session to go over everything that I've worked on with your dog, coaching you through aspects you were previously struggling with.

I can provide testimonials from previous pet-sitting clients upon request, my aim is for you to feel as comfortable as possible trusting me with your home and your fur-babies.

Prices start from £80 per day for 1 dog, multi-dog households and pricing can be further discussed 🐾

⚠️ Are you struggling with reactivity to triggers with your dog? ⚠️

I'm here to help you and your dog change the emotional response to triggers, and equip you with various strategies with how to manage this.

🔸 reactivity in dogs is such a broad spectrum; it can develop into explosive barking, stopping and intense staring, stalking ;
🔶 being able to pick up on subtle body language queues such as ears raising, hackles raising, etc. will be instrumental along your journey to combat reactivity.

while you may consider your dog to be friendly, an overly-friendly dog would still be considered a reactive dog. for example, if your dog see's another dog and can't control their impulses and immediately runs over to the other dog - that is a reaction, your dog is over-aroused at the sight of another dog and can't fight the urge to recall or not approach in the first place.
; same goes for if your dog see's another dog and lies flat on the ground (stalking behaviour) or stops dead and stares, unable to engage from another dog - these are also reactions that would be considered unmannerly behaviours.

🔸 generally, if a dog 'LOCKS' onto a trigger, is allowed to 'LOAD' ; the dog becomes frustrated, increasingly aroused, and likely will be repeating a pattern of behaviour that you have reinforced. then they will 'REACT' when under thresshold, which is the distance where your dog can manage around triggers.

🔶 If we can begin to recognise these behaviours, and impliment a consistent routine for 'LOCK' 'LOAD' 'REACT', your dog can start to expect that you will advocate for them which will strengthen your relationship by practicing your handler skills and increase both you, and your dogs confidence

i have experience with several reactive dogs, all reactive to different triggers and have implimented a range of techniques best suited to the dog infront of me

remember, dog training shouldn't be easy for humans, it should be easy for dogs 🙌🐾

🟨A little about us🟨...

for those of you that i haven't already had the pleasure of meeting; my name's josh, your local dog boy 👋🐾

since i was a little boy i've been infatuated with dogs and could tell you nearly every breed by the time i was 4, i've carried this passion throughout my life and have always been engaged with training family and friends dogs from a young age.

whilst i was studying at uni, i rescued my best friend Yellow 🐕 from Romania and she changed my life forever: when she arrived at 4 months old she was riddled with anxiety and petrified of the entire world, she is the reason i've been able to get to this point and taught me so much in terms of dog ownership.
Yellow is proof that hard work and consistency will allow your dog to have the most fulfilling life if you give them the opportunity to learn the skills to be able to answer the questions that you are asking them, successfully.

For the past 2 and a half years, I've been working as a professional dog walker and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and have worked with them individually in order to meet their specific needs; this created a harmonious pack environment where all the dogs were engaged with me and they understood the language i was communicating with. Dog walking enabled me the opportunity to expand my own knowledge while working hands-on, in turn giving me the confidence to pass on my knowledge as my techniques are tried and tested.

As much as I loved dog walking, the level of consistency required to train dogs to a certain standard without owners input was becoming unrealistic, my goal with this service is to provide expert knowledge and come up with a routine for your dog that suits your lifestyle, while meeting your dogs needs. I'm here to coach you through various aspects of your dogs life and help you identify why behavioural problems may be occurring - whilst equipping you the skills to be able to deal with this in real world scenarios.

Whether you want to work on lead walking, working dog skills, recall, if you want to take your dog camping, to a restaurant/cafe ; i'm your guy to inspire your confidence and make dog training feel less daunting😄👍
