A lovely 8 weeks old new member came to visit today to see what the gundog training was all about. Looking forward to working with this little girl in a few months time 💕💕. Well done to our other dogs today where we worked on blinds and retrieving each other dummy’s as a different scent. Lots of laughs and fun 👏😂🙋‍♀️🐶

Just a reminder about our Dog Pack walk this Friday evening raising funds for PAWS. 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🐶🍰

DOG PACK WALK this Friday 23rd

Start- 6.30pm

Location Castleshaw carpark.

Distance 3 1/2 mile

Easy walk heading over Lark Hill and finishing at coffee box for drinks and cake.

Charity walk supporting PAWS

£6 per dog … dogs kept on the lead.

This lovely dog who has been on residential training here and doing very well had a treat in Uppermill. We did more training along the bridle paths and finished up in a cafe .. and yes I had cake and this lovely Lagotto had some treat I brought with me.

This lovely Lagotto is here for some residential training and doing very well now he has settled in. But he should be doing well as this is my Loretta’s brother from a previous litter. Great progress is being made 💕💕

Well done to these two owners and their lovely dogs for passing the Pet Gundog Foundation course. Other owners who are on holiday shall be taking some time in the future. Well done to my wonderful Xena as usual who helps with demos.

New puppy class started tonight and what lovely puppy’s we had. Yes not one but two chocolate working line Labradors from the same house. All the dogs were stunning and made lots of progress in the first lesson. We also had children here playing adding more distraction for the puppy’s 😂 See you all next week. 🙋‍♀️

Well done to everyone who passed their Puppy Foundation Course tonight. Some are now moving on to the Pet Gundog Foundation course starting 4th August.
Our next puppy course start next week Thursday 25th July 6-7pm for a 6 week courses £75. Still some places left so please get in touch. Well done everyone .. I’m very proud of you 🙋‍♀️🐾🐾💕x

This is one of the follow up lessons after the dogs go home after finishing residential training. Now it’s time to train the owners 😀👏. We worked on the dogs heeling together and then finished in a cafe training the dogs to settle around people wile the owner was having coffee. They did really well and the owner has reported a big difference as it’s more enjoyable to take the dogs out now. Please get in touch if your interested in residential training for your dog 🙋‍♀️🐶🍰🐾🐾

Pet Gundog Novice class working on sit stay and leaving you dog. Walking dogs in a line and sending dogs in turn for a retrieve. Finished with the ladder game where they have to keep going back to the same spot retrieving 3 dummy’s . Well done all it was great fun 👏👏

This I’m my Quinn she is my lovely Mali that I use in lots of my lessons. When she was younger we used to do lots of tracking and it time to continue with her training. The last time she ever tracked was over 12 month so today was a test to see how she went on. She is follow the trail to find her beloved Kong. Hard to control and film but I’m happy she is so keen. If anyone is interested in tracking please let me know and I’ll set a course up. 🙋‍♀️🐾🐾🐾🐾

This young GSD came for some heel work training as he was just dragging his owners. After some time with treats and change of direction she started to understand. Very bright dog with a great future ahead 🙋‍♀️
