It's Bella's birthday, and her lovely mum treated her to a spa day. Bella had her claws and toe tufts trimmed and she enjoyed a warm, soapy bath. This gentle girl was a star for her groom, and I look forward to seeing her again soon 😻

Mia is a beautiful 10-and-a-half-year-old brown tabby and white domestic longhair girl. Although Mia's lovely mum takes good care of her super-dense, fluffy coat, she brought her for her first professional groom to help reduce shedding. Mia had her claws trimmed and a bath. Mia did great for her groom, and I hope to see her again soon 😻

Rico is a handsome 11-year-old black domestic shorthair boy. His lovely dad brought him to his first groom to remove mats from his coat. The mats were extensive, and Rico had a lion cut followed by a bath to degrease his skin and remaining fur. The marbling on his skin is from the mats and will heal now they are gone.

Rico likes to be out and about, and I'm sure this mini panther will enjoy showing off his new haircut and feeling great. He was a star for his first groom, and I look forward to seeing Rico again soon 😻

Handsome Pablo popped in for a groom. I'd not seen him for a while, and he needed some large mats removed from his bum, chest, and sides. Pablo also had his claws trimmed and a bath. This gentle boy was a star for his groom. I hope to see him again soon 😻

Gingy is a beautiful 10-year-old red tabby and white domestic shorthair girl. Her lovely mum brought her to her first groom to clean her skin and deshed her coat after a now-resolved case of fleas. Aside from being extremely vocal throughout her bath, Gingy was a star for her first groom. Her fur and skin are clean, and she will feel much better 😻

I'm often asked to groom cats with fleas. However, grooming alone, including bathing, will not solve the problem. If you're struggling to get rid of fleas from your cat, consult your vet for a prescription treatment. Treatment should be ongoing to prevent the fleas from returning. The cat's home environment should also be treated, and your vet can advise on appropriate treatment.

Sapphire is a beautiful ten-year-old blue point and white ragdoll girl. She came for her first groom to remove mats from her coat. It was a day for nervous cats. Sapphire wasn't comfortable being handled, so her claws were trimmed, mats removed, and she had a belly shave before being safely returned to her carrier.

Her lovely mum sent this photo of Sapphire at home. After sniffing her housemate, ragdoll Walter, she enjoyed lunch and treats before going to bed for a nap 😻

Bailey is a beautiful 14-year-old black and white domestic longhair. Her lovely mum brought her for a groom with dematting. However, Bailey was adamant about not having a spa day today. I did a claw trim, hygiene trim, and mat removal. It's always disappointing when I can't complete a groom, but Bailey will feel more comfortable now her mats are gone 😻

Ella is a beautiful one-year-old blue mitted ragdoll girl. Her lovely mum and dad brought her to her first groom. Ella had her claws trimmed, a hygiene trim, some minor dematting, and a bath. While shy girl Ella wasn't sure what to make of her first groom, she did well and looked fabulously fluffy. I look forward to seeing her again soon.

Handsome boy Mylo popped in for a groom four months after a lion cut to remove mats. He had a bath, claw trim, and ears and face cleaned. Mylo was a good boy for his groom 😻

Nalah is a beautiful nine-year-old tortoiseshell domestic longhair girl. She had her first groom to remove extensive matting from her coat. Mum asked me to save the coat where possible, and Nalah had some large mats shaved from her body and belly. She had a bath to remove the grease and shedding hair, and her remaining coat was dematted. Nalah did great for her first groom. I hope to see this beautiful girl again soon 😻

Shadow is a handsome senior black domestic longhair thought to be about ten years old. The lucky boy was given a home by his lovely family as a stray. Shadow came for his first groom to remove matting from his belly and coat. He had his claws trimmed, ears and face cleaned, a belly shave, and a bath. Although nervous and very wriggly, Shadow did great for his groom. I look forward to seeing this gorgeous, purring boy again soon 😻

Annie is a stunning two-and-a-half-year-old silver tabby Maine C**n. Annie came for a pre-show bath. Annie was a star for her groom, so patient. She is a big cat with dense fur, and the groom took time. I wish Annie and her lovely mum luck with the show. I think she is a winner 😻

Olive had her claws trimmed, her ears and face cleaned, and she had a bath. Olive was nervous for much of her groom, but she eventually settled on my lap for hair drying. Handsome boy, Alan, popped in for a groom. I'd not seen him for a while, and as extensive matting was throughout his coat, the only grooming option was a lion cut. This big, shy boy did well for his haircut and bath. I hope to see him again in a few months for a maintenance bath and dry to keep his coat clean and mat-free 😻

Eddie wasn't sure what to make of his spa day, and he spent much time hissing and grumbling, although he did enjoy his neck and shoulder massage. Eddie did great for his first groom, and I look forward to seeing him again soon 😻

Gorgeous 4-month-old kitten Luna popped in for a groom. She had her claws trimmed, a bath, and her face and ears cleaned. She was a little star. Luna was delighted with the catnip treat I gave her to take home before I reluctantly called her lovely mum to collect her 😻
