** IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING STRAY DOGS **

Due to the removal of Dog Warden services in Oldham, we are unable to take in stray dogs to the practice if we cannot locate an owner as we have no facilities to accommodate overnight patients.

If you find a stray dog, we will be more than happy to scan for a microchip and try to contact the owners, but will be unable to hold the dog.

Instead, it is advised that stray dogs are taken to Manchester Dogs Home to be scanned for a microchip and held for the owners to collect.

We appreciate that this is going to cause a lot of difficulty and frustration and would like to use this as a reminder to ensure your pets' microchip details are up to date

We are currently looking for a friendly and organised receptionist to join our fantastic team on a permanent, part time basis (roughly 24 hours a week) and the role will include working a late shift on a Tuesday and Friday.
The ideal candidate will be personable and friendly with the ability to deal with sensitive situations. A background in reception or a customer service role would be advantageous and IT skills are essential. The role will include answering client phone calls, maintaining client records, cash handling, dispensing medications and general office administration.
